Figures, Today stellantis is cutting back production on Wranglers and glads. I'm not warm to unions, I belong to one. But someone should come in and clean house at stellantis. The stupid stellantis wanted to make Jeep a high price product like , who knows. Now there stupid marketing strategy and greed and sloppy building is catching up with them. So, you know who will suffer from all this, Us theJeep owners, Already I hear they can't get parts to fix some problems. But there smart, no loaner cars for a Jeep customer, while they wait weeks or months to get something fixed. They stink. Like rotten peperoni.

Jeep is my favorite brand and want them to thrive. Now, they got greedy like the rest of the industry and jacked up prices too high during covid. Ram for example, now has the Bighorn, what was considered a step up from a Tradesman going for $52K starting. If I recall correctly, most trucks went up by around $10K. Crazy! I guess during covid, when the man was down, car manufacturers decided to kick us in the ribs instead of giving us a hand.

I can never understand why employees think they can screw the people they work for. They are purposely waiting when Stellantis is the most vulnerable to go on strike. What a shame. If the autoworkers want better, then go find a different job. That's how the rest of us do it.

I understand that. I'm carrying a heavier workload at my workplace due to a lack of employees, which isn't in my contract. I have two viable options. I can either do the extra work while voicing my concerns, or I can find another job.

Going on strike is like holding your employer hostage. If your employer is that bad, then why would you want to work for them to begin with? I appreciate those union workers who don't strike. They know and understand the risks (consequences) for striking.

I get it. Everyone resolves conflict differently. I just think striking is a sign of weakness.

I can never understand why employers think they can screw the people that make their products. The workers are often living paycheck to paycheck and just trying to earn a fair wage from a multi-billion dollar company.

The free market is a bitch when it can go both ways, ain't it?

I'm not in a union, to be clear, haven't been in twenty years.

Unions have exactly one tool to be heard.

A contract that's not honored, is worthless.

If they choose to strike because they upheld their end of their contract and the other party didn't, that's pretty straightforward.

Don't kid yourself, AMC and Chrysler needed no help running themselves into the ground. GM is a shadow of their golden age in the 40s-60s.

That is every auto manufacture, They all suck long waits to get warranty work done and no rentals. i dont even think its a marketing issue. we went from not being able to find new vehicles to buy to a slower market. Jeep is considered luxury/hobby vehicle to most when the economy slows this will be the first market hit in auto sales.

Just talked to a dude this morning that got out of a super-clean JK on 35's, and yeah, he said it was just his fart-around vehicle, and that he had a truck to do stuff.

So there's certainly a market for this, but I think it's long-term blind how Stellantis put all their eggs in this basket.

The biggest mistake Stellantis has done is leaving their customers in the dirt. My Ram 3500 is a prime example of how loyal they are to their customers. The high prices and all the other stuff every manufacture is doing that, lots of tech and high dollar. We got a new vehicle for my wife a few months ago, did not even look at the Wagoneer after dealing with my truck. we went with a Yukon Denali.


You won't see my driveway look like this again.
