Does the door lock wiring run through a plug that is separate from the factory door wiring?
It is separate but connects and disconnects in the same places as factory connect/disconnects for ease of use when removing the doors.

Looking at going another direction for a Gladiator. I have had my eye on these two in my area:

Blue
https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/inventorylisting/vdp.action?listingId=392414766#listing=392414766

White
https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/inventorylisting/vdp.action?listingId=381585701#listing=381585701

Which looks like the better buy? I really like the blue one with a limited slip and auto 4H , but the white one has more on the tech side. Also, the white one has had the rear seat cleaned this week (you can see the old stain in the listing), but does have a little hail damage on the hood.

Those are both just outside the 60K mile powertrain warranty. Would be some risk buying them even with warranty that would probably be third party that has risks unique to it.

Blue one has been sitting 55 days at the dealership and the white one over 6 months. White one probably has more warts once you see it in person.

I have had extended warranties before and they were decent to work with. The mileage kinda concerns me, but not too much, especially since I drive like 5k-7k a year.

I have ran across quite a few low priced 2024 Sports in the mid-high $20's (auto, soft top). I have also seen a few Sport S's in the $35k range. Is it worth it in your opinion to spend the extra $6k-$7k for the S?

On the flip side, would it be worth ordering a new 2025 Sport with power windows and locks exactly how I want it (Max Tow) for around what the same price as the S after the % under invoice deals.

A1 Electric is working on a power window kit for the JL/JT's and they already make a power lock kit. So that helps to make the 2024 Sport a bit more appealing.

If you're the type that likes to always be in a new vehicle and trades every couple of years, order what you want and lease it.

If you like to keep them long term, my advice is to get what you want, even if it means ordering and waiting. Treat it as if it is the last truck you will purchase. Don't settle for whatever is on the dealers lot.
