Got an entire coffee spilled into my center console. Cleaned it out best I could, But do I need to be worried about it seeping into the light in the middle and shorting it? or worse developing mold? I can't figure out how to get in there to really clean it

It's clipped/sonicwelded together.

It's not something a normal person is going to pop out.

That doesn't give me a lot faith that coffee won't get into it and start growing mold

I wouldn't be too worried. Even if you are, I don't know what you could possibly do short of ripping the whole thing apart and probably never getting it back together again. At that point, you're better off just replacing the center console.

ahh well.... I guess I'll just wipe it out with cleaner best I can and hope for the best. If there's anything I can't stand is the smell of mold and mildew.

Sugar is problematic wherever, but take solace in knowing that among passenger vehicles the Jeep is among the better ones to have a spill in. The interior is supposed to be fairly water resistant given the open top. I'm sure plenty Wrangler-Gladiator interiors have gotten drenched in the rain and survived.

I clean mine with warm water and the shop vac, no matter what gets in there and where, it's coming out. highly recommend.

I have small kids so I get A LOT of shit stuffed in those cup holders. my favorite was the Sprite-goldfish cracker soup. highly recommend as well.
