I really like my JTRD, with 35âs itâs stunning, and has tons of torque.
I think itâs important to understand, that as a truck itâs more of a lifestyle truck, for small loads or towing light trailers without significant grades. Towing ratings are just numbersâŠ. I can tell you that my JTRD out tows my Tacoma on flat land, but when it comes to pushing the vehicle hard on long grades, Iâd avoid this Diesel.
longevity should be good assuming quality fuel, and your CP4 doesnât eat itself⊠(most folks wonât).
I do recommend getting a Bluetooth OBDII scanner, and downloading my dashboards to use with car scanner pro.
They Include a ton of gauges for EGT/IAT/Soot level/Regen state that you should be aware of when you push the engine.

Thats âoff roadâ info not avail on the 7âThose with the 7in screen are you able to see all your info on it? Oil/water temp and pressure trans temp etc? Or do I need to get the 8.4in screen?
I've got 43K on my 2022 and the only issue so far has been a speed sensor.Anyone have any more updates with mileage and/or concerns/issues about their diesels?
