In fairness, you can buy a Porsche 718 for about the same price as a loaded Gladiator. That fact or that I could have been buying one of the new C8s popped into my head just as I was signing the paperwork on my special order JTRD. This resulted in a long awkward pause in front of the salesman where I considered the wisdom of my life choices, an ink blot started to accumulate on the paper, and I’m sure trickles of drool formed at the edges of my mouth. The salesman thought I was having a stroke and in a way I was. I continue to have little strokes every June 5th and Dec 5th when I have to pay $800 in personal property taxes to the Commonwealth of Virginia for this JEEP.
