Hey guys-
I am just returning from a 42 day trip across the Sahara Desert in Algeria and Tunisia and wanted to share my opinions of the BFG KO2's that were in 5 of the 6 vehicles in our team.
Unfortunately there were no Jeeps on this trip and frankly the Gladiators would not have made it if for no other reason than the fuel requirements to travel in the remotest areas are more than the Jeep can handle (we carried 270 liters of diesel as an example)
Anyway I'm a big fan of Toyo's and one of the rigs had them but the rest had KO2's.
We didn't have one tire failure in over 5000 miles of hard driving and that was amazing to me. In every other trip in Africa we had multiple failures, usually with General tires.
More to come shortly..
