Yeah I have. I don’t understand it but personally I wouldn’t take a truck on there. Doesn’t seem responsible to the others….I must be getting old. Nowadays when I need an adrenaline fix I grab my KTM and hit the trails with my son.

I just came across this video and thought it might be interesting for some of you.

In principle I think it is quite ridiculous to take the Gladiator on the Nordschleife but maybe they just wanted to demonstrate the capabilities of their suspension.

Not sure if it was mention in the video but looks like they replace the track bar.

Dangerous no, in my opinion. These where so called "tourist days" where everybody is allowed to drive and everybody also should treat each other with respect (should, in theory).

The time they did was not too slow, I did similar lap times with my 70 hp Spitfire and never had problems.

My cousin had a Spitfire. Neat little car. She traded it in for a TR6 later on. She had a MGB before the Spitfire.

Ich habe auf dem Nurburgring gefahren. It was a dream come true. I passed a Jeep Grand Cherokee and felt like Max Verstappen. And then I got passed by a ring taxi like I was standing still. I think I'll chase that high for the rest of my life. They have a fun museum there too, and sponsored by Bitburger which is my favorite beer by leaps and bounds.
