I really like mine as well. Traded my Taco on it. Toyota is only making 4 cylinder turbo engines for them now. I don't find the interior very appealing either.

I'll keep the Mojave--it suits me. Hopefully parts will still be available if they have to restructure.

What a sorry deal. One of the workhorses of WW II in bad financial distress.

If that's YAHOO or CNN, I sort of understand why they are a year late considering this as "news". This exact talk has been around so long there's black mold growing on it - 100 generations worth.

2024 prices went up - 2025 prices, at least for some, like Gladiator, are actually down a fair amount compared to 2024.
I'm glad I waited - exact same JT I was looking at last spring is about 5 grand cheaper this model year. And that's with no discounts

Lower prices will hopefully increase sales. I'd like to see Jeep survive and thrive as a brand/company. I wish they would go back to being a niche brand and stop making vehicles that lessen the Jeep name in an attempt to compete in different market segments.

It's the ONLY way they can survive - they'd already be done if it was only Wrangler and Gladiator sales. Grand Cherokees and others are keeping Jeep alive.
Around here we call the GC the "official vehicle of Polk County, Iowa" there's so many of them. Dealers sell them like crazy - row after row after row on the lots and they don't stay there long at all.

We've seen record inflation over the life of the gladiator. Prices aren't up, money isn't worth the same. According to the inflation calculator 2019 $40k is 2024 $50k. 23.5% inflation in a 5 year span is going to hurt and of course it's going to severally impact sales, especially of niche vehicles that get poor fuel economy. The only auto manufacturers doing well right now specialize in econobox vehicles... and even a new Honda, Kia, or Toyota is going to cost you $30-50k. These articles are just dumb. And justifying Fords even higher average price because of their "luxury brand" Lincoln? I'd be amazed if Lincoln makes up if 1% of Fords sales. A similarly equipped ranger, Colorado, or Tacoma all cost what a gladiator costs.

Zach is right about cost. My limited Taco was 40k in 2017. I'm amazed at all the technology in my Mojave. R&D costs a bunch of money.

Just go to the grocery store and take a look at prices--crazy.

I guess that leaves less for other necessities like Jeeps.

Price is only one of STLA's problems; STLA has a VALUE problem.

Most consumers are willing to pay more....IF they feel they are getting more in return.

But STLA refuses to do so. They have jacked up prices across the board while pulling back on what consumers get - quality, warranty coverage, features, capability, resale, customer service.

Value is highly subjective, no doubt. But that doesn't make it any less critical.

In the end, consumers can tell when they are getting value...and when they are not. These days a growing number of consumers are not seeing value in STLA products.

I paid $37,500, about $11,310 off MASRP, for my ‘23 Gladiator base Sport in August of 2023 and got the 1.9% APR deal. I set out in an effort to get a near pre-2020 price on one, or as close as I could anyway. It took months, and weeding through these liars and scumbags at the dealerships, but finally found one.

I agree. I have to say, it did feel a little silly buying a brand new vehicle in 2023 that had no power windows or power locks 🤣

But I started with a CJ7, then two TJ’s, none of which had either, so the ‘23 Gladiator was already a Cadillac to me.

I shopped Ford, GMC and Chevy (son sells GMC and Chevy), and Toyota. As discussed, all 4 cylinder turbos in the small trucks. Hard pass.

Traded out of my favorite vehicle of all time, Ford F150 SuperCrew 5.0 FX4.

I’m still happy with my decision.
