I finally pulled the trigger and ordered my Gladiator! Brian from Koon's has been great, and made sure the whole process was a breeze. I just saw the fathom blue shows on the builder again now, which is what I originally wanted, and Brian checked constantly for updates, but I couldn't wait anymore. Ended up on Firecracker because my daughter loves that we'll have Clifford the big red Jeep, and it's a Jeep, bright is better to me!

That firecracker red max tow from my pic will hopefully be replaced with the real deal within a few months. I know there is a below invoice pricing thread with all of the info, but Koon's has up to 9.3% off invoice right now on Sports and 8.7% off Rubis and Mojaves.

Couldn't get pricing anywhere close to that here in NJ so I'm taking the trip down to VA when the time comes!

Koons beat my local dealer by $6.481 when I ordered my JT. Could have saved another $1K had I requested courtesy shipping. If I ever order another Jeep I will for sure use them again.

Congrats on your soon to be new gladiator, I'm a big fan of the bright colors too and love the Red, especially with a tan top. Is that pricing ordered vehicles or whats on the lot too? What was the MSRP and what was the sale price before taxes?

This pricing is only for ordered vehicles. MSRP was $43220, and my selling price after discounts was $39,638.

I would expect 9.3% off "invoice" to be much lower than that. Your numbers look like discount off MSRP, not invoice.

FWP for a base sport isn't much lower than MSRP. The discounts become greater the higher the trim and the more options you get. I really just wanted a good work truck and towing vehicle for best price and Koon's was the best game in town for me.

Yeah, that makes sense. I also just remember FWP does not include Destination Charge of $1895 that is rolled into the MSRP pricing but not invoice pricing.

The base sport now having power windows, locks and automatic standard make it a more appealing option to me also.

Yes to all of the above. I was haggling with autotrader dealers in AZ and TX for a month and a half. They list the 2024s at like 33k, then when you call and say I'll literally buy it now, they're like, well actually... blah blah blah, price is 38.5k.

I figured I'd rather give a reputable dealer business, get the newest model, and get the power windows for the wife. But damn I did want the crankers...

Sounds like Ourisman CDJR in Bowie MD. They are listing 24's in the low $30K's but they are rolling in just about every rebate out there whether you qualify for them or not or if they even qualify for the vehicle on the listing. They even put the stupid EV credit in the discount price. Just typical stupid dealer games to get stupid people on the lot.

Ourisman is awful. In 2023 they had a JTM I was interested in but the sticker wasn't on the site. Called there for info, got a sales guy on the phone. Asked him if it had SelecTrac and other certain options (it didn't). Thanked the sales guy for his time and he proceeds to try and hard close me over the phone on a truck I didn't want, getting downright indignant, insulting, nasty and unprofessional and saying shit like "Why do you want that, you don't need that. We don't get enough snow to have AWD. Don't you know how to drive? Besides you can add it." News to me.

I stopped him dead in his tracks at that point and let him know that A. I'm not spending $55K on a truck that doesn't have what I want B. that he was lower than whale shit and hung up on him. I sent his GM a detailed email thereafter and he told me "I don't believe you. He's one of our best salesmen."

I'll never buy from any of their stores after that. But at least they're not DARCARS.

The last part sums up the car business pretty well. At the end of the day by hook or crook, if the guy is moving units, his place is secure.

FWIW, I just bought my 2025 JT Sport last Friday from Len Stoler CDJR in Westminster and got a decent deal out of them. That place was never on my radar but stumbled on upon their website with some decent discounts and they stuck to the advertisement and bit more in negotiation. Dealership itself seem a bit run down and most of the people working there looked like they were on work release from the county jail but the final numbers came in where I wanted.

Without question, sales can solve certain... personality issues. Dealers cycle through them fast enough as is.

Far as Len Stoler, I'm very familiar. There was one sales guy there that was an enthusiast and he and I knew a bunch of the same folks from our respective VW eras. I had an appointment nearby back in the spring and stopped in to talk numbers with him on an Anvil JTMX they had online. It was sold by the time I got there and he was no longer working there. Wish I knew where he landed.

Your description of the rest of the staff is accurate.

Last March I leased a 2023 Gladiator freedom package. With just the factory options it was $ 55,500.00 . They knocked off 8500.00 that's 15,36%. Plus gave me good money for a 2012 Jeep Liberty latitude. The Liberty had some problems but was clean. The dealer was Hertich Jeep of Elkton ,MD. The salesman TY was very good. So far I have recieved very good service from them. There a local dealer, and I like to deal local. So far , so good.

Every time I leave my local dealer after talking money on a new/used jeep I feel like I need a shower.
