New Wheels on weekend! Stock Mojave, 20x9 20+ 'Trail Boss' (brand, not chevy model)(28lbs) w/Kuhmo Road Venture AT52 35x12.5r20(66lbs). Both rims and tires winter/snow rated, though I do plan summer use predominatly. Weigh about same as stock (26lbs Mojave 17", 63 lbs 33" Wildpeak), so mpg hardly changed. Poke is maybe 0.3 inch past stock high clearance fenders (might add extensions). Got 5 of them in deal so have a 5 tire rotation ready to go. Not going to recalibrate (5% off) as manual tranny (post recall) goes into limp mode if you try to use an aftermarket programmer to change tire size. I use it as a truck, more then a trail rig (towing Travel Trailer, bed use for recreation) but looks to have tons of clearance still for my moderate offroad use. I know 20s frowned on. My use better served by 20s bottom line. Still an E rated tire so tougher then stock... less squirm towing. Quite and smooth still... though e rated and 20s would be bumpy... maybe just fresh rubber cush for now. Waddaya think?

I'm still not seeing how any truck uses are better served by 20s? You could make an argument for E rated, but if you're adjusting inflation when towing there's no advantage to 20s. My E rated 37x12.50r17s tow just fine. Plus they ride way better when the truck is empty. And they work infinitely better off road. And...MEAT.

For looks and because the kids these days don't know any better, not because it helps with any truck things. New rams are available with chrome 20s... but the rebel still comes with 17s.

If you're happy with the looks and performance that's all that matters. I will say that if I could run 37x 12.50 x 15 on my JT, I'd be happy. Still a great looking MOJAVE!

Apples & oranges. A GMC Canyon like that is not designed to be an offroad vehicle so 20s work. The Mojave is. And a “high speed“ off road vehicle to boot so 20s are definitely a hinderance.

I like the look; have been thinking about doing the same ( or similar ), while being able to swap out a set of 35s on a 17” rim; I just don’t have the room to store a second set of wheels.

If you’re not wheeling, your wheel diameter doesn’t matter much. I think they look

Hear ya on Ontario Jeep life expectancy before Theft! Wild stories out there! Added some security gear to mine... now I am told with those detergents they'll just break into house and put you at gunpoint to get past 'em.... better to just let them take it quietly in night, save the family trauma. You able to find 37s for a 7.5 width stock wheel?
