Installed J&L catch can. Hopefully will keep motor cleaner over the years. Had quite a bit of oil inside stock tubing. Also have the Banks Pedal Monster.

I installed the UPR oil catch can put also a 4ft x 1/2 drain hose doubling its capacity.
This keeps the oil out of the can preventing oil getting sucked up into the intake.
I easily drain it every 1000 miles and there is never any oil in the can its all in the drain hose.

I've had the Mishimoto catch can for over 3 years, and the amount of blowby is higher than you would imagine. After years with a Ford V-10 that was notorious for blowby, a catch can made a difference for long term reliability and service. They are a worthy upgrade to keep intakes clean and dry.

Absolutely. Always just thought super chargers and turbos benefitted the most. Hearing more and more the 3.6 produces a good amount of blowby. Have 16k on engine so hopefully will have better longterm success.

I too have a OCC. Only installed it a couple of months and so far it only has a residual coat.

I believe the new Broncos do come with a oil catch can.

I have never had one on any vehicle I have ever owned. Performed the required maintenance when it was due and never had any problems. I really do not think there is anything unique about the Jeep engine that would require a catch can so I will save my money for something else.

If you have ever installed one and seen the amount of oil you collect you might change your mind. Sure It might not help 0-100k but anything past might help. Circulating the amount of oil is simply not good at all. Vehicles run on gas not gas diluted with oil.

Exactly. As a motor ages blowby will be greater. I certainly don't want that in the intake manifold and combustion chamber.
