I recently changed out the OEM Rubicon Wheels with 285/70 x 17" Tires to the OEM Rubicon Exreme Recon Beadlock wheels with 315/70 x 17" tires. I have a slight rub on the inner fender liner on the passenger side and will be trimming it soon. I was curious of the exact specs between the two wheels and since I could not find all the info in one place, I thought I would share it here now that I gathered it.

The Stock Rubicon Wheels are:
17 "x 7.5" Granite Crystal with 6.25" Backspacing (44.45mm offset), 27lbs - 6KC871A7AA
Wheel Center Cap Granite Crystal With Jeep Logo - 1LB77MA7AC

The Rubicon XR Beadlock wheels are:
17" x 8", with Backspacing 4.4" (12mm offset), 4755640AA (Beadlock Capable Bronze), 4755628AA (Beadlock Capable Dark Gray Metallic/Slate)
I could not find a weight on the XR wheel with or without a ring.
Wheel Center Cap, Bronze - 1LB77NTZAC
Wheel Center Cap, Dark Gray - 1LB77MA7AC

Three rings are available
10 Bolt-Pattern Trim Ring - 68614980AA
25 Bolt-Pattern Trim Ring - 4755635AA
25 Bolt-Pattern Functional Beadlock Ring - P5160154AA
Bolts For Ring - 6512360AA

Attached are photos of both wheels and calculator showing the wheel/tire combo changes

Are there 25 threaded holes under the ring shown in your picture?

I'm running the Mopar beadlock wheels on my JT and JL, they are heavy but solid. I really like them.

I have rubbing on passenger side with my 37's and stock wheels. Started trimming and there is some sort of heat protection on the back side of the fender. Found that out after I trimmed it so I stopped and decided I will drill a hole in the liner and use a zip tie to hold it back.

Seems like those Jeep wheels really like pulling deep into the wheel well. Almost like the Tundras.

12mm is a good offset I’d say since it’ll bring it out further from the wheel well. Ultimately though, it’ll be about articulation.

You can drive straight, but can you flex without rubbing?

I love the look of these. The wheel color looks like a charcoal grey of some sort. It doesn’t appear bronze. Is that what Mopar is calling bronze?

According to Google the wheels weigh between 34 and 36 pounds each…yikes!

My dt-1 wheels which are the same concept as the Mopar bead locks are 40 lbs each. FYI, what is a few extra pounds when you jump to 37" mud terrain....
