took mine in today for the recall, they told me 5-7 days because they have to order the part once its at the dealership. The also have to keep the jeep there since they have to program the mileage on the new cluster, my guess is before it is sent to the dealership.

Mine just went out this past week. I have the base package gladiator ("sport" i guess), but I have the slightly large cluster gauge.

called jeep cares this morning. they do not... care. lol since its not officially recalled (which i understand, i dont know what i was hoping for, but was hoping that maybe enough people complained that they said they would handle the repair)

they said to complain to NHTSA so I did that via their website. basically complained that my jeep matches all of the specs of the recall, except i have the slightly larger screen.

i kinda need my gauge cluster here so i called up "united radio" this morning. over the phone i gave the person my details and the part number of the unit (i took the unit out already because i didn't know this thing was recalled) and they sent me a prepaid shipping label via email and put it in a box today and sent it out. I'll be happy if they can get it back in my hands in like 7-10 days. they quoted me about ~210 so we'll see.

I picked up my Nighthawk this afternoon, so 4 days to do the recall, for me anyway.

Update on mine (i have a 2020 gladiator with the 7 inch instrument cluster).

Tuesday Feb 11: called up "united radio" this morning. over the phone i gave the person my details and the part number of the unit (i took the unit out already because i didn't know this thing was recalled) and they sent me a prepaid shipping label via email and put it in a box today and sent it out.

UPS Delivered Thursday, February 13 at 8:14 A.M. at United Radio

United Radio called Friday, February 14 at 3:30 P.M. for payment (~$220) and said they'll ship it out today. Hootie hoo!

Arrived and installed it back in my car yesterday, Feb 18th. Pretty fast turnaround (less than 48 hours at united radio). Hope this helps someone in the future!

I just spent the past hour at various levels of Jeep. Customer care (all receptionist were clearly offshore call centers). It seems that my VIN is not in the recall database even though it’s clearly the same issue. Anyone else been denied the recall for the instrument cluster blackout?

You have the base 3.5" monochrome cluster? It will not cover the 7" Premium color cluster if that is what you have.

I have a friend with a 2020 ruby with the 8.4 screen package who was also feed that line about her vin not in the recall group. She also has the mopar extended warranty and was told it will be several months until they can get to the repair because recall claims take priority.

Basically standard FCA/mopar BS that devalues the brand and turns away customers. I have suggested she blow off FCA and just send in the screen to a 3rd party repair and be back on the road in 10 days or less.

That sucks then. I know "United Radio" is doing the recall repairs. They usually will also fix a cluster for like a $200 flat fee or around that.
