These BFGoodrich All Terrain T/A KO2 fit on a stock factory mojave wheel w/o issue? DiscountTire says rim width range 7.5" - 11.5" so should work.

I really like the weight reduction in these 69lbs vs the others. How's the noise on highway?

Noise is de minimis

Found here for $378 each in C load. https://www.americastire.com/buy-tires/bfgoodrich-all-terrain-t-a-ko2/p/104136

I think the Ko2s are a great tire, they get a lot of hate but they have remained possibly the most popular all-terrain for a reason. Not to discredit others experiences, but They've never let me down on or off-road. Are they the absolute best AT out there? I don't think so but they are pretty damn good for being a fairly old design at this point. The new Ko3 is starting to roll out more sizes, however I think it wont be until late 2026 until they offer it in 37 inch sizes.

I did have an issue where one of my Ko2s was out of round, thus it was making my Jeep vibrate. Luckily this issue is covered under warranty and Americas Tire replaced it for free without hassle and I got a new one a day later. No more vibrations! Just be sure to ask for a Road Force balance!
They are popular because of the deals they make with OEMs to run them. Being that they come on all the JL rubicons people are filled into thinking that they are some great tire that add to the Rubicons capability. They aren't terrible compared to standard LT tires but I've literally never found a worse performing AT on road. They aren't great in the rain or snow. Off road they are even more of a let down. Only because they came on both our 2019 JLUR and our 2022 xr in a 35 do I have the experience I do with them and like I said I've never found worse. The falken AT3Ws, the Baja boss, and the Yokohama X-ats were all just as good on dry pavement, better in snow, and way better off road. The fact that they are also at the upper end of price has me convinced that most of their buyers have little to no experience with any other quality name brand ATs.

I was comparing more for the weight reduction in the KO2 vs the ones you mentioned. Can't speak to the on road experience.

If weight is your only criteria then you'll be hard pressed to find a lighter tire. When we are talking 37s on a 5k+ pound vehicle I doubt 5-10 pounds per tire is even noticeable let alone measurable in any meaningful way from acceleration to cornering to braking to mpgs though. I'd rather give up a bit of weight for a better performing tire personally.

The original KO was an amazing performer in rain. I started using BFGoodrich when factory Firestones on a couple different trucks I had failed so dramatically and I never looked back.

Completely happy with my 37" BFG ATs. I got mine when walmart was running one of their really low deals, and I got Discount tire to match the price. Took 2 days to get in and all's been good ever since. Got them probably a year and a half ago at $315 each... :)

Been running BFG AT's on my DD since they came out in the 70s . I have never had one issue with any . Last set of 37" KO2s took a lot of weight on New Warn wheels . exchanged the wheels for the MOPAR slotted Off-road wheels and went from about 18oz of weight to 6oz at the highest . Both were 8.5" wide so no width issues , That was a couple years ago and still like them because of the weight . wheel/tire only about 91 lbs .

Have you tried any of the competition though? If your "opinion" is only based on running KO2s, that is very much opinion. In my EXPERIENCE having run KO2s for 50k+ miles in 33s and 35s and having run several of the competitors the KO2s would be my last choice.

Ive run a set of Ko2s on my JK, the old knobby KM1's and one set of Falken At3ws. Also ran the stock AT3ws on my JT for a while. I really like the AT3ws, they are definitely better in rain. I just also really like the Ko2s :) and they're pretty affordable (at least compared to other brands 37's) right now due to them being phased out for the Ko3. With tires, if I have a good experience with a certain tire I tend to stick to it, I don't want to risk over 2,000 of my hard earned dollars because someone on a forum says they suck when my own personal experience matters more to me. I respect that other tires are great too.

I have ran plenty of others and always went back to BFG . Incidentally I never said they were the best I only said I never had an issue and I liked them . Been doing this for 50 years so call it what you like. Aren't most posts opinions AND personal experience. I refuse to post based on hear say as some do

I realize that you are not asking for recommendations for alternatives but I decided to try a set of Maxxis Rzr ATs when I was in the market for another set of KO2s and I'm very pleased with the quality.
