I'm looking at cargo slides for my 2020 Gladiator Rubicon. It's getting to be a real pain getting the stuff in the far back of the bed. I know a lot of people have used BedSlides brand, and lots more folks do homemade solutions, but I think the three best pre-made options I've found online are:
  • Highway Products XT1200
    • weighs 136lb
    • Maybe 5" high base? Unclear. (how much space is lost due to slider hardware)
    • 1200lb capacity (open? or just closed? unclear)
    • standard rectangular shape
    • GREAT sides, best of the options for the sides of the cargo slide
    • GREAT handle placement, as it's the only one that doesn't take any storage space away
    • Metal platform
    • Stops every 10" so it doesn't fall open on a hill
    • Extends 62% of the way -- it's 58" long and 22" remain in the truck for stability
  • Black Horse Slide Tray
    • weighs 108lb
    • 4" high base (how much space is lost due to the slider hardware)
    • 440lb capacity extended, 880lb capacity closed
    • Stops at closed, halfway, and fully open
    • Metal platform
    • GREAT shape -- it's the only cargo slider that gets wider after the wheel wells
  • Decked CargoGlide 1000- 75% extension
    • weighs 112lb for the 75% extension model
    • weighs 233lb for the 100% extension model
    • 2 different adjustable heights depending on what's needed to get past the tailgate
    • Decent handle that doesn't take much bedspace
    • Marine plywood platform
    • Unclear if it has stops other than "closed"
    • Unclear how much space is lost to the slider hardware

Does anyone have any experience with any of these? I can't seem to find anything via the search function here in the forums.

How much weight do you plan to carry on it? I had a Bed slide and loved the utility, but I hated the extra weight it added. It also ate up quite a bit of vertical space if you have any kind of bed cover.

I eventually sold it and now have a Tmat. The Tmat will slide out with items on it, but I've never tried with bulky items. They claim it will slide with heavy items, but it's a bit of a knuckle buster. I'm considering putting a bed rug under the TMat. I think it will slide easier when I need it too.

Tourtop makes a low profile lightweight slider. It's only rated at 330lbs, but I think it may be the sweet spot at 85lbs.

I have a Rubicon and it drives much better without the added weight of the Bedslide. YMMV.

I have a Decked Cargo Glide. I didn't/don't notice the weight but I miss the verticle height under my DiamondBack. I really liked the price!
It has 3 stop locations and the deck is 5 inches above the bed.

That looks nice, thanks! I'm considering a slider now that I'm getting a full hard bed cap, since that makes it harder to get to stuff in the back. (I'm currently leaning toward a Venurous Ozark) I applaud you for it, but as you say, there's no way I'd lose that much height in an already ultra-low truck bed if I just had my tonneau cover. I have an ultra-low-profile slider that juuuuuuust barely fits my fridge under my tonneau cover, but I want the easy of storing full-height objects, and my bed rack doesn't make that easy.
