Looking for some opinions on rear spring assist options... short term and cheap fix until lift.

Running stock Rubicon suspension with an Alu-cab Contour Canopy and RTT setup, it's full time daily. Truck seems to handle it fine, sags a bit but keeps rake. When on trips I try to keep it as light as possible - fridge, tote, tools, water, etc.... looking at around 600/650lbs extra when fully loaded.

Goal is to keep the truck a little more stable on long distance road trips and less dramatic bump stop hits. Additionally would like to gain back some ride height if possible. So far I have two options:
1. 1000lbs Air Bag - spring assist
2. SumoSpring (bump stops)

Any have other suggestions? Pics for reference

I'm down to fly it instead of drive it! Less traffic

I was leaning that way - they cover all 3 of the needs

I have the airbags on my max tow sport s. Keeps the truck level when towing my travel trailer. They are cheap and easy to install (let all the air out of them and they slip through the coils). I ran my schrader valves out through my license plate holes and fill them with a portable air compressor. Don't forget to air them down when not in use or you will have a bouncy ass.

Looking for a band-aid fix with a pending trip in 2 weeks. Need something cheap, fast and easy for now. Lift/HD Springs in the future

Probably going airbags seems straight forward

I've had the Airlift HD Ram 1500 1000lb springs for over 4yrs now. I haul and tow weekly. Everything from a full bed to one of the 5 trailers I own, including a 24ft trailer. And a boat.

maxtow springs and spacers would probably be the best short term for cheap vs airbags. Really if you are planning on upgrading soon with lift….just weather the storm for the trip.
