A bit over 30 years ago, I owned a 27L RR Meteor (Tank Version) in a crate. It came out of a surplus sale from the Austrian Military. It made it into a vintage speed boat after I sold it here in FLA. Vividly recall - each valve cover had 52 bolts!

Funny the amount of "Gatekeeping" that goes on around here when this topic comes up. Like people's sensibilities get offended if they should ever whisper the notion a HEMI V8 coming to the JT.

It's not "gatekeeping". No one is trying to keep JTs pure to authenticity. It's more just.....why? Mopar doesn't even really make a good V8 option. Just cuz it has the word "Hemi" attached to it doesn't mean anything. Toyota Corollas have Hemi heads too. So what.

Hemi is an old design and really has no meaning today. It's a marketing term. People still look amazed "you have a hemi!? Wow".
It used to mean something. Not today.
Besides, today's Chrysler hemi isn't even a true hemi chamber.
