People here don't want to do that work for the crappy wages it pays. Why the hell would I want to abuse my body doing that when I can make 2x - 3x from my office chair at home?
That is an option. But, the majority of Jeepers wany to do the job themselves. giving the satisfaction of self a complication!

I work for money, you can't pay for things with satisfaction.

That's great but most cannot. Lets call this peoples choice! I for one choose to do most mods
because I want to have self satisfaction in the final result!

I wasn't talking about mods, I was talking about working the assembly lines in factories making things.

It's called job satisfaction. I could have made more, but been a lot less happy. I actually turned down jobs that paid a lot over what I was making at the time - because I knew I'd not be happy there and it wasn't the work I really wanted to do (shuffle papers, supervise people, etc. - YUCK)

I have installed all my mods myself in my garage. If I could do them I would probably do long arms myself. The floor is getting harder and takes longer to get up and down. But I love it.

Why not?.. people pay for things to be installed on their rigs that normal paper pushers cannon do their selves. As for me.. as a disables public official I pride myself in the satisfaction in the final result!!

I see the Corvette is surprisingly way down the list, I would have thought it was high in the American built....but that's just based on guessing.

Thanks for sharing this list.

I do it myself. If it's wrong I know who did it and he can fix it.

Yup….I agree….. Heck, I worked in a factory for 20 years (15 years ago) and some of the folks( back then) didn’t want to work. 🙄

Even today…. My husband struggles to find employees. I would say 85% of his applicants, apply only to satisfy their unemployment requirements. If he’s lucky enough to setup an interview, majority of the time they never show up for the interview. If they find someone to actually hire…. He’s lucky if they show up on the first day!!!

Last time I was looking for work I used a service to apply to 300+ companies at once, then picked the best ones to move forward with. I even had to ghost some interviews because better ones popped up. It's not like companies contact people to tell them why their application wasn't selected, it goes both ways.
