Funny how bringing back the engine to being USA made only bumps the USA made content 4%-6%. Would have thought that would weight heavier in the percentages.

Maybe it is just assembled with a lot of foreign parts?
Definitely uses cheap Chinese plastic I swear to , well I just swear nearly every cockeyed one of those pull out clip locks breaks the instant I try and pull em back to I can unplug something. I freaking hate those 🤬 things.

This is what all other parts on it are made of.

24 and later engines came from the USA, not Mexico.
both my 23' and my 22' say USA only. I don't think there is any definitive year that exclusively get MEX or USA engines. Pretty sure its just whatever stock is inline at the plant when the truck is being built

I've looked at several dozen 24s and 25s, not a single one of them had Mexico.
I've yet to actually personally see a prior year usa engine. There are differences in the engine depending on what it's going in

I’ve seen em all over the place except for the first year. All the first year JTs I saw were MEX engines. But I’d bet there’s still US engine first years somewhere. There’s always some outliers in every pool usually

I was told Mexico was being repurposed thus the change for 24 model year. Makes sense with the 4xe and all (which was originally slated for 25 JT models)

On some models these are used in, the intake manifold swings the other direction. In other words, it covers bank 1, not bank 2 like the jl or JT.
