I know. I know. But if there is a decent tire I’m unaware of, I’d likely replace my almost worn out 37’s with something bigger. I’m not interested in 13.5” wide tires though. So I get that the answer is likely no, but I thought I’d ask. With how I use mine, I can’t put the spare in the bed. Thanks everyone. I’d be fully willing to have very little air in it. I always have my co2 tank.

Gluetred, puncture repair kit, and no spare an option?
I’d rather not. I’ve taken tires off the head that I couldn’t reseat before. Spare was the only reason I got off the trail.

I understand that… I’m waiting for the day I have to try the starting fluid bomb method to reseat one. Bread grip wheels might have me a little over confident. Then I’ll be paying one of my buddies for their spare.

My teraflex nomad wheels have bead grooves as well. I got it seated up until the groove and it stopped. I was using 300psi of co2 in the attempt. Nope. Spare went on.

37.75” tall, 74.5 pounds and not cheap! It is so much fun messing with ya, but I planted the thought in the back of your mind and next week it will be your idea!….Jack

I was just looking at those 20 minutes ago actually. The size is perfect. But I have a friend that used to have ridge grapplers and he told me they suck in rain and snow. Really sad actually.

I always give credit. I really wanted them to be the tire.

That was the tire I just replaced… only good thing I can say about RG, they took a beating and never tore or punctured. And that’s all I can say about that.

Yeah. I liked the sizes they offer for 17” wheels, but it seems that everything else is nowhere near Mickey Thompson. I just want my Baja bosses in 38” so badly. Yet, not available.

Confirming the Nitto RG 38 x 11.5 x 17 fits in spare tire space under the bed?

I’ve seen it, but have never attempted it.
It works great! Just *spray a trail for a longer "fuse" so you don't need to stand right on top of it...light it, then have your air source ready to go right away or you'll have to start over.

Where does it get sprayed on the tire? I get the concept I believe, that it expands the air upon explosion and seats the bead. So do you spray it inside the tire, ignore and inflate simultaneously?
