Anyone have recommendations on a decent quality water-resistant bed cover/tonneau?

I've been through 2 BAK Revolvers and loved them, but both have lasted only a couple of years. This most recent one was my fault: I tried to close it over a standing propane tank and it separated a joint. From there the glue started giving way, particularly on hot days. It's held together with gorilla tape now until I can find the right replacement.

I target shoot weekly and like to keep paper and cardboard IPSC targets in the back and would prefer something that keeps the bed reasonably dry over almost other feature. The BAK was pretty good in that department, but if I knew heavy rains were coming, I'd move all of my targets inside. A "gully washer" or the car wash always got a puddle back there. I don't need it to stay bone dry. It's not as if I'm trying to protect blueprints or anything; targets get holes punched in them and thrown away but too much moisture does warp them.

Of the 3 JTs I've owned with the factory tonneau cover, I have yet to have any of them leak. If I aim the car wash gun wrong, I can force water in at the rear (and that's not a lot of water even then - all at the rear), but it's never been wet in the back due to rain.
I keep buying the factory cover because it keeps the stuff in the back of the truck dry. That includes driving at the edge of our derecho when the rain was driven by winds of over 50 mph - up to 70 in this area by some reports.

I'm sure there are better, more secure covers, but in my case, I'm totally satisfied.

Appreciate the quick reply. Is this the tri-fold or roll up? Guessing tri-fold but want to be certain. Seeing as mine is in pieces I need to order something next week.

Sorry - it's the roll-up.
I'm not a fan of the tri-fold, etc. (personal preference and the types of things I haul and so on)

Frankly, I was pleasantly surprised - I really DID expect leaks along the sides, wind whipping and other problems.

I picked up a cheapo Tyger, which I don't even think was made for the Gladiator.

A roll up.

It's been on the OVERLORD since late 2019, no leaks, no issues, and surprisingly, still looks good.

I never expected it to last this long.

I can dig up the part number if you like.

I have a Lomax hard trifold and I have been happy with it

Obviously there have been times it was also a pain in the ass, but I've not had any leaks due to weather

Coming up in 4 years with mopar roll up and it's holding up very well. No rain or water issues. Starting to show signs of wear on the cover but still seals up the edges well.
Was considering revolver but I might just stay with mopar roll up when it comes time to replace pretty happy overall

I have the Mopar Tri-Fold and it's been on the truck for over a year with no leaks. I moisturize the seals with a cleaner/protector every now and then. Still works and looks fine.

I just looked at those on Amazon. Just over 200 bucks and a thousand 5 star reviews. I see they're coming out with a solid aluminum one next month called the T5. I'm tempted to wait but that would mean 3 weeks of not being able to open my broken cover. It's in pieces held together with tape at the moment so the next time I roll it up will be to take it off for good.

It's a TYGER T1, and I want to say it's for the small Chevy pickup.

Shop around, a quick search shows them under 200 somolians.

For defecations and chortles, lemme see if I can find the original post, as they were STRONGLY suggested here.

I previously posted about the one that came on this truck when I bought it. Including a bunch of images I had taken immediately after a pretty good downpour. Here is the link....

I think it punches way above it's weight in about every metric I care about. Probably something I wouldn't have considered if it wasn't already on it, but now that I have had it for a year or so, I am confident telling folks its fine. Sometimes the Rough Country stuff is completely serviceable, sometimes it's trash.

I've had this Tyger tri fold for 4 years.
It has been perfect. No leaks, no cracks, no problems. Still going strong.
IDK why it doesn't leak, there is no seal on the sides or back, but it extends over the rails all the way.

I hit it with 303 protectant once a year.
