On my old 2022 Willy I put Rubicon fenders, hood and take-off Rubicon wheels and tires. Then in 2024 Jeep did the same thing to the Willys model plus added a rear locker.

What model do you have?
Nighthawk. From what I've read after learning what I have in this thread it seems that the fenders are to cover the wider axles.

Is it just a straight up swap?

I'm actually surprised I haven't seen many fender sets for sale, considering how many jeeps I see running around with aftermarket fenders. Tires on the other hand, I think when my tires wear out I'll save a bunch of money by buying one of the MANY sets of take-offs I see.

For the JL yes it is using Mopar Fender Flare Kit 82215743AD w/ LED Daylight Running Lights. Here is a Gladiator fender swap video on YT.

Yeah, if you look at the slider picture posted in this thread you can see that the back and bottom edges of the wheel arch stays the same, so the higher fenders are actually longer (vertically)

The front JL Rubicon fender flares will fit any JT but not the rear fender flares.

I'm going to end up going around yelling at people that their Rubicons are fake!

But correct me if I'm wrong, the JK vs JL also is the fender turn signal vs round turn signal. When I'm comparing, I don't pay attention to round signals
I was just like you. When I bought my Mojave, I had no clue the fenders were different. I just knew I liked the fenders better. I bought it, brought it home, then joined this forum. I've learned a lot here. Now the low fenders really stand out when I see them.
