It looks cringey to me. If I did get a Rubicon. I would be sure to make sure the factory knew to not put those stupid decals on the hood. I don't want any reference to the Rubicon on it. Just the off road equipment.
I doubt they would ship it sans sticker... you're on your own with debadging.

That being said, a heat gun will get most off handily... then Goo Gone to remove the sticky bits left over.

Cool how on an assembly line. They can't just not do it and skip the stickers. I don't follow the logic.

Loading up the Overland and the Rubicon on the Jeep site.... saved photos of both for side to side.

I like the Steel Bumper Rubicon. I like the Rock Rails look vs. the side steps. And the hood - hood makes a huge difference with the vents. Fender flairs definitely a touch higher on Rubicon and like that way better. Plus the badging has the more 3D look with red accents.

I think the height and hood vents add to the look of the Rubicon.

I don't think it's a logic thing so much as efficiency. The parts that make YOUR custom ordered Jeep are in the bits n pieces added later... its a completely different team that cares what Shawn likes. By time they're looking at your checklist, the frame, body and guts are all put together. It's the same reason that you can't have them make a purple Jeep made to order.

I think I prefer the Overland vs. Rubicon. I like the cleaner more classic look. I'm not a fan of the decals and red trim including dash.

I tend to agree. On my Rubicon JK I de-badged it since I prefer the cleaner look. On the Gladiator we will see if I leave the Rubicon badges on or not.

I wish they had a “de-chrome” option for the overland. I can always do it later with plasti-dip like I did with my Colorado, but it’d be nice to have it come body color.

Glad they got rid of the red only dash in the rubi, that would have been a deal breaker. I’ll prob go with that but don’t want the vent hood so maybe someone will trade?

Isn’t the red dash mandatory with certain colors? On the configurator billet silver with black leather only came with red dash. I didn’t see an option for another color dash.

I did not see a dash color choice on any of the models, just a seat fabric color choice and leather or fabric for the seats. Perhaps I missed this.

Someone more knowledgeable can correct me, but on the JL it looked like all the rubicons had a red dash. For the JT depending on the exterior color, some have the red and some don’t, but then if you upgrade to one of the leathers then it goes away at least in some configs

On the 2019 JL that statement is correct. Since the JT is a 2020 I am not sure if the dashes on all Rubicon JLs will be red, or if there will be two (or more) colors that are determined based on the color of the JT/JL.

No, that's not correct - you can build a Mojito or Punk'n JL on jeep.com and see that certain colors do not have the red dash.
