Bruh, this again?! THe Mach-E is a 12.5 car. the "performance option" is a 11.8 car.
Stock GT running 12.2s all day. Some slicks and tune it's in the 11s. What are you talking about. It doesn't drag mustangs. LOL

Bring it to the track, and I'll teach ya about electronics, they are used for valve actuation not propulsion. I'll even give ya head start, the nitrous jets are tunable :CWL: It's dial a time kind of system.

Needing spray to beat a bone stock soccer mom CUV with your v8 muscle car isn't remotely the flex you seem to think it is...
And then there's actually putting the power down on the street where you can't compete with awd. If I was a dedicated track guy I'd be butt hurt by just how quick EVs are too. So with enough mods on a preped track you can beat cars, trucks, and SUVs that nobody is buying for the track? Some of which cost the same as a stock mustang? If you get the plaid budget to build the mustang to compete against it, put it back to bone stock and line up next to the mach-e since we are racing dollars now. Yes it's embarrassing... and it should be.

I don't think an electric car being fast is nearly the flex you think it is.

Nitrous purge doesn't excite you? Wheel stands? V8 sound?

Nah, let's go watch the EVs drag race. 😆

Watching anything is nowhere near as fun as doing it. It's hard to justify an 8 second drag car that sucks on the road when you can now buy a family sedan that will do it and come, roadtrip, soccer practice, etc all better than any mustang ever.

Better than any Mustang ever is your subjective take on it.

The more I think about this, it's cheaper than a Rivian, and they seem to sell just fine.

I just checked the build schedule, at full ramp up by April, they're only building 1000 units a month, so it'll probably do fine.

THere are a couple of things in life that don't need to be silent.
The hot rods
The wife
The movies

If ya picking up what im putting down

Bro its so easy to make 8 second cars today. Can literally pick any car ya want, and there is a way. Enough turbo and anything will run 8s. 800hp mustangs drive just like a normal car, you wouldn't even know it has that much horsepower unless you stomp it. They sound stock, they drive like a stock car, but put your foot in it and byyyeeee.

It's not like it was even 20 years ago. 800hp is stupid easy. You don't have to make them rowdy unless you want to these days. 800hp today is the 400hp of the past these days.

And going to the track to watch and hang out with friends on a friday night street night is fun stuff.

Better commuter, more comfortable, roomier for both occupants and gear for soccer practice etc, and if it's an 8s mustang it won't pass a gas station and the slicks don't handle great on the street or wear worth a shit. If you read what I wrote, for the users listed as a family car/ daily driver is better in every measurable way. Does it sound better? Hell no. Can you build a mustang to be quicker? Of course, but then it's even worse at all the things people but a family car for. That's why I clearly stated that it's not a drag car and nobody is buying it for that. The fact that it beats most of them on stock street tires off the showroom floor while being better at being a street/ family car even comparing it to a stock mustang is what's impressive.

But 800hp is nowhere near 8s. You could put 15 turbos on the gladiator and the only 8s pass is making is the pistons passing through the hood. And the Tesla does it stock on street tires, from the factory, full warranty. Nobody said it's the fastest drag car ever, but it's the quickest production vehicle and miles ahead of any stock ICE vehicle ever at that. "But a top fuel car will beat it"? No shit. Can you build a faster car? Of course. I've never seen a 8s car on street tires aside from maybe a built gtr. The rear wheel drive just can't do it period.

Yeah, i mean comparing a 2 seater GT car to 4 door family sedan is really apples to oranges. Just different worlds, and i wouldn't hate on either of them. We have some Mach-E's in the car club, they are cool cars. but it's not a GT car. grand touring cars are built for a purpose and one purpose only.

Always the guy with 0 8 second cars, or 12 second cars, telling everyone how "easy" it is 😂
