It's not a white shaggy carpet on the dash. Most Jeeps have cloth seats and carpet... where your muddy boots go. But the dash? It'll be ruined if it sees dirt? Like all the other cloth/carpet in the thing?
True but a seat is pretty easy to vacuum or shampoo if really bad. I wonder how easy this cloth dash would be to clean.....🤔

I have had to scrub and wash my seats and floors over the course of 5 yrs. Have these designers ever went off-road ?
We have leather in both Jeeps and buy quality floor mats. Nothing more than wiping down the seats, washing off the mats, and vacuuming had ever been needed. The cloth on the dash in our rental 4xe seemed durable and easier to clean than the carpets in the 2 weeks we had it in Hawaii. It's just not something I'd worry about for 1 second either way.

Your compairing orange apples respectfully speaking . If ypur from the east we have Clay. Clay mud and clay dust does not just wipe down. Driving through a desert is nothing compared to driving through a trail in the mountains of WV . .No disrespect intended but those leather seats would have to be wiped and treated if you lived and wheeled in this state.

The Texas black clay wipes off pretty easily. Well to be fair, the wife cleans the inside, i clean the outside, come to think of it, she was pretty exhausted.

If only the Jeep came with a top and doors...
Being out west we never take the top and doors off so the dust and mud aren't really an issue anywhere. 110⁰? I'll keep the windows up and the AC on. 14⁰ and snow wheeling? Windows up and seat heaters cooking. Even a dusty ass trail or allergy season. Personally I find the top and doors off to be one of the most overrated features of the Jeep. I know some love it. Perfect weather and trail conditions it's enjoyable. 99% of the time? Pass. There's a reason at least half the sxs's we pass the drivers look miserable. We've even caught a random snow storm on the Rubicon on memorial day weekend. The guys with no top and doors are trying to strap tarps to the roll bar and covering up with towels, we just rolled up the windows.

A lot probably don't have windshields and Jeeps following me in the dust stay buttoned up.

My favorite part is when our group would pass a group of side by sides and they are all caked in mud or dirt head to toe, miserable as you said - and I roll my window down and AC (or heat) out and I signal that I'm number (whatever) in the group and roll it back up 😂

Usually perfectly clean with a cold drink in hand and the radio playing.
