Hi all,

I have been waiting all year long for December to come along, so, that I can grab a nighthawk for a good price.

In short, I am working with a Jeep dealership on a new 2025 nighthawk - it is a soft top with no tow package. They are asking 39,900 - is this a good deal?

I am trading my current vehicle - they are offering 9,000. Whereas, carmax was offering 8,400.

I really do appreciate any feedback on this!

I am not exactly sure what all a Nighthawk includes, but High Tides near me are especially well equipped and are going for just under $40K, as a reference. I think the High Tides are basically the '26 replacement for the '25 Nighthawks?

Is that the OTD without the trade?

I just picked up a 2025 Sport S with the following:
- max tow
- trailer group
- Quick Order 24S
- soft top
- MSRP was 48,100.00

I was out the door with all taxes, tag, and fees for 39,240.00 w/ no trade in. I was always set on a hardtop but I've really enjoyed the soft top.

Wasn’t the Nighthawk package including the color matched hardtop? Never seen one with cloth roof before. With a hardtop? Yes that’s a fair deal. The only thing I don’t like about that package was the fact it came with too big a wheel choice20” in believe. Plus the limited list of other options I found in my Sport S, hardtop automatic, we found in August 2024, with MSRP of $51,400, with a $15,000 discount! Everything I wanted, but without any tow package. Every other package but LED head/fog lights. Heated seats/wheel, rear cross traffic alert, adaptive cruise control I use all the time. Plus UConnect 4 G LTE WIFI 911/SOS system with 8 speakers. Oh and 17x9” color matched Chrystal Granite wheels with 245/75-17 HT tires, I run at 38 psi, that help me get a lifetime average 20.5 mpg ! Ride very nice and quiet and great in heavy rain.

There are great deals out there. A SoCal dealer in Chula Vista (by San Diego) has new Dark Skies going for cheap. See below. Keep in mind that delivery options are more common now than ever.

I know these are teaser MSRPs, but they're a good place to start. @RobTrachtman at Irvine CDJR is a great resource as well.

These teaser prices have gotten out of hand.

I paid $41k for a 2025 NH and was pretty pleased with the package. So Cal.

“We don’t have either of those exact ones, but we do have a couple other nicer ones for $39.9k.” 😆
Exactly. I probably should have added more of a disclaimer on my post about the ridiculous teaser rates. The deals are still out there, but the teaser rates are equivalent to finding some attractive woman online and showing up to your first date and getting her quarter-pounder Mom.

Just a suggestion when asking a question about "good deals" here, it is more helpful, IMO, to work off of OTD (out the door) pricing instead of what the dealer is offering. The dealer may offer you something on a Jeep with MSRP of let's say 46,000 for 40,000. Great you say. But that may not include thousands more in dealer fees and dealer add-ons. The 40,000 Jeep is now 43,000 and you are getting less than a 10% discount off MSRP; not that good in today's market. I would even include the tag/license fees since dealers (especially here in Florida and some other States) often grossly inflate the tag charges and claim they are using private tag agencies to save time and have to charge other registration fees to Stellantis and yadda, yadda, yadda. At least when I buy here (we have a 6% sales tax on the sale), I look at the bottom line, out the door price to compare prices. Yes, I can back off the sales tax amount and maybe be generous and back out another 200 for tag/transfer fees since that truly goes to the State but after that, it is all a part of the selling price.

Use THAT price when comparing deals and one dealer to another.

I agree with a previous poster, the color matched hardtop and fenders are part of the Nighthawk package 24X. Post the window sticker.
