@Wildwilly I live in a state where train engines are tested . Why because we only top out at 4,800 but the inclines to get there are massive . 11°plus. Many of the smaller hills here run 19-25° the site Im on now was 19° . I am lifted and on meger 35's and I think it does great. Maybe something is wrong with yours.
Or your thinking it should shoot up any grade at 50mph .

He should at least celebrate that he doesn't have a previous generation Tacoma.

I was going with couldn't pull a maggot off a gut wagon. But hey I aint splitting hairs here
I had to drive on for work for 2 years put a 100k miles on it. It was absolutely % the biggest piece of junk I ever sat behind the wheel of.
This Jeep is a CADILLAC in comparison.
Wouldn't even go up a gravel driveway without 4x4 engaged

No, I just live on a rd that is 55mph, and I have to go from 0-55 quickly, or get run over.

I'm not against winding the truck out to do work, but that doesn't change the numbers. The Gladiator is underpowered compared to anything in its segment (even to the Nissan Frontier - the only other NA engine in a midsize truck).

I'd still rather listen to an LS do work than this cam eating sewing machine in my Gladiator. That's why I don't own two 3.6L's, but I DO own two LS V8's

And don't take me too seriously Bill, I tell the ole' lady all the time her next ride is gonna be a 3.6L Durango or Cherokee L. I like the brand. I don't mind the engines.

But I'm not likely buying another 3.6L Gladiator. Hmm. Doesn't mean I won't keep mine for a long time. Remains to be seen....

I'll probably buy a Ford and then send pictures of it to @Stan H daily because I know how much he loves them
