The hood-line is longer than the bed in that picture. So you have the hood line, passenger area taking up over 2/3 of the thing, with less bed than what's ahead of the windshield. Proportions are off, IMO.Gonna start calling you Jane,

It's the angle of the picture. The bed is longer than the front end. Most pickups are just plain and don't have any character, not like the Gladiator. The hood-line is longer than the bed in that picture. Best truck of the last fifty years.
The GMT800 is the peak of 'modern' trucks.Best truck of the last fifty years.
New enough to be super comfortable, old enough to be easy to work on. LS engine before DOD so its reliable as death and taxes. The 4L60E transmission if nothing else is simple, cheap and easy to fix - and more or less super reliable if you get a good unit and dont beat it to death. Parts are cheap and abundant, I could go on.
I used HP Tuners to turn it off in my SS Camaro. Hoping that if they don't have to unlock anymore then the lifters will live a lot longerWith DoD on LS just put an LS7 valvetrain on and call it a day.
My 2008 G8 GT blew up at 68k from DoD. I was so pissed off I had it fixed under warranty and sold it.I used HP Tuners to turn it off in my SS Camaro. Both of my 09s had DOD intact and working. One had 87k when I sold it, and the other had 135k when I sold it. Both were fun to drive ticking time bombs. My 2008 G8 GT blew up at 68k from DoD. I was so pissed off I had it fixed under warranty and sold it.
I do. It goes 0-60 in a week. I have to punch it when I leave my driveway. One day I am sure something in the engine is going to want to start seeing other people.Push the skinny pedal .

Yeah, and from my perspective, it's a rather plain jane, unattractive truck........ but that's my perspective.Perspective
