So the front springs are Readylift 68-6401-k and when I look that parts # up there is very little info. What does come up are some marketplace listings with spring with that number on Jeep Jku's.

I believe that is is a full Readylift kit, but the part number has me off. Plus I don't quite see all the components in the photo of that lift kit.
The track bar is adjustable. The Control arms are not. And they are tubular.

Hootbro, I totally agree. I was looking for this combo for a year.
Low miles, Gobi color, bigger screen, etc... This thing was practically new and moderately priced. I wasn't even ready to buy until I sold 2 more vehicles. I didn't want to let this one go.
I have a problem haha

What I did read is quite a few good reviews on that Readylift. Not really talking about a stiff ride.

So in the kit pic, I am struggling to find what these are. Are they the extended bump stops? That doesn't look like what I have

First off, thank you all for chiming in and helping. I'll get there eventually

I think I will try to contact Readylift directly tomorrow.
As well as do more measurements.

I will keep updating what I find. The more I research, the more I think that I do have that Lift kit. The product number is what is throwing me

Something... something... software.
You could always just bandaid it with a beefier steering stabilizer and maybe mask the shimmy some til you make a decision on what you want to do suspension-wise.

They are the extended bump stops; silver for the front, black for the rear.

Ride quality is extremely subjective.

What may be overly stiff to you is an amazing ride to someone else.

I have Bilstein 5100 shocks on mine and I think it rides like hell in some conditions - but plenty of folks will scream from the pews that 5100's are the best.

Unfortunately, messing with the suspension on something often means experimenting further to get what you think is right for you.

If those control arms are not adjustable, you may need more caster.

With a shimmy, I'd check the condition of the drag link and tie rod ends. Make sure there is no play in them. Hold your hand on the ends while someone shakes the wheel back and forth and feel for a clunk.

I have a shimmy right now that is bordering on death wobble. I also detected a clunk in the drag link ends, so a new drag link is coming Saturday and we'll see if that alleviates the issue.

Torque should be checked on all the drag link, tie rod, front control arm, track bar, and ball joint connections. Check the front ball joints for play.

Even if it's low mileage and certain items were never fooled with, you never know where an issue may lie.

Solid axles suck like that. Worn out components in an IFS vehicle just means a rattle or a pull in the wheel. It usually needs substantial wear / damage to affect drivability. On an SFA, the slightest wear in things can really throw it off.

Oh... and did we forget a free test as well - swap the tires front to rear? If tires have started to cup or wear unevenly, they can induce a shimmy.

Some people won't swap out the bump stops because "the new ones are bigger, they'll limit travel" or some illogical conclusion. If mall crawling, and/or pavement princess, it'll be fine.

Don't get hung up on the spring part numbers the front springs of a JK and jl/jt interchange. You just get less lift on a jt then on a jk. The stuff ride is the falcons. Those falcons are known to be stiff, some people love a sports care like ride with little body roll and others like a plush ride. Switch the shocks to something other than a digressive valve or get custom tuned if you want a softer ride.

So I called Readylift and yes that is the lift I have. That part number is the coil that comes with it. Strange that theres nothing when doing an online search, but whatever.
Next I will be looking to soften the shocks. (any suggestions that don't break the bank?)
Rancho?
I will also upgrade the dampener. I put an upgraded Gabriel on there, but prob should have gone to a more heavy duty one.
Also take to an alignment shop to check caster, toe, etc...

With my setup, what tire pressure would yall run for daily driver? I am running 34 on all 4

Thanks all

I will do some measuring today to see if front track bar is adjusted properly.
I have stock drag link. Does that need upgrading?

We did the wheel shake test and everything is very tight under there. No knocks or rattles

Drag link is fine unless the ends are worn out.

My stock drag link is showing wear at 36,000 miles with 33" tires.

I am replacing it with a heavier duty Metal Cloak unit.

But if the ends aren't making noise / clunking / loose, don't worry about it right now.

I absolutely do not want a racecar feel, but I also don't want a couch.
Our roads here in Tahoe are so awful. Typical California roads. Potholes everywhere and never fixed. And when fixed, it's done poorly.

Good news on the drag link thank you

I hear good things about Rancho RS9000XLs. It's a good shock with dial adjustability so you can tune it more to your liking without going broke in the process. I do not have personal experience with them, but I would like to try them next on my truck.

I wouldn't worry with the damper unless the one you have is leaking or no longer has an resistance, or has dead spots when you run it through its travel.

I run 32-35 PSI in my 33s. It's never been an issue for me.
