I had a 392 HEMI (6.4L) installed in my Jeep Gladiator by America’s Most Wanted, and overall the experience was outstanding. From start to finish, the build went great and the quality of the installation is truly factory-level. Everything looks, feels, and drives like it came this way from the manufacturer.

The team at AMW was excellent to work with—professional, responsive, and transparent throughout the process. They kept me informed, answered all of my questions, and sent multiple photos during the build so I always knew what was going on. Shipping was handled smoothly, and the truck arrived exactly as expected.

As for the driving experience—this thing is incredible. The power and acceleration from the 6.4L are absolutely intoxicating. I’m very glad I didn’t go with the 5.7, as I know I would have been disappointed, and while the Hellcat would have been insane, it would honestly be too much for daily driving. The 392 is the perfect balance—brutal when you want it, yet completely manageable and comfortable for everyday use. The truck drives amazing.

The only initial drawback was the exhaust. While exhaust sound is subjective, it was a bit too loud and raspy for my taste, with some drone. I spoke with AMW and they suggested adding a Borla resonator after the muffler. I went ahead and installed it, and it made a huge difference. Now it sounds perfect—still aggressive, but much more refined. The drone is gone, and at normal cruising speeds you barely hear it; it only really comes alive above 2,000 RPM.

Yes, the conversion is expensive, but it is absolutely worth the money. I would pay for it again without hesitation. The only downside is the waiting game—it took about 2.5 months after the down payment for shipping, and another 1.5 months for the build—but the end result makes it well worth the wait.

Top-notch company, top-notch work, and an unbelievable driving experience. Highly recommended.

ItDodge: I like the 392 in my Gladiator too! I went the DIY route. But certainly worth the effort and expense! Only wish I could have kept the manual! -Tim
