I just read this entire thread and only one answer was helpful and it was the second post. I do also appreciate the complete derailing of the thread.
Some of the best threads are the ones I come in to catch up on and have absolutely no idea what the OP was originally asking / posting about. 🤣

I also learn a lot from the rabbit hole / squirrel detours the threads take. 😁

Both capable of pulling you off.
Both whine when you are using them too hard.
Typically you mount them both in the front.
You can tell when they are Warn.
Loose spools are no good.
New versions are more sleek but less dependable.
Don’t look forward to needing to use it but always glad you did.
