So against my families dismay ( 104 heat index out), i finally got off by buttocks and installed the Cavfab diff covers.
took 2.5 hrs total but most of that was the usual up and down finding the tools needed. Overall I'm pleased with
them!

Looks good!! I finally got tired of that up and down and in and out of the garage to get the right socket myself. I picked up one of those tool cart/ stools from Harbor Freight on one of their sales. Worth its weight in tools!!!! 3 drawers, cushy seat, and 2 magnetic trays to keep bolts and stuff straight.

Thanks. That’s a cool one. My cheaper one finally died so I tossed it.
I’ve had this one for a couple years and use it for EVERYTHING!! Working on vehicles, taking apart the dryer to clean the lint out of the puller (cat life), anything that requires me to be at about knee level or so to finish a job with tools and parts it’s helped immensely.

When I saw the post title on the main page I nearly broke someone else’s legs running to the comments so I could holler ā€œBULLSHIT, WE’RE NEVER DONE WITH OUR BUILDSā€ only to get here and see that you’re only talking about one particular task. Dammit.

Either way, they look awesome. Now I have to find someone else to annoy until my flight leaves.
