I second this, 5.13's and BFG 37" (a small 37 to say the least) and I'm very comfortable at 75.I have 5.13 and it's definitely not too much gear for 37s. Maybe with an unloaded Glad on 37s for commuting. But for long trips, loaded and mountain passes, people should go with 5.13s. Also, people rarely go down in size. Always larger.
I always recommend "overgearing" if given the option. At the end of the day, you are driving a brick on wheels. Understand that, nothing you do will make the jeep any more aerodynamic or MPG friendly at Highway speeds. The only thing you can do to significantly improve MPGs on the highway is to drive slower. This is 100% an aerodynamics issue and very little to do with the drivetrain.
Overgearing will help you make up for all the heavy crap we bolt to our Jeeps, allow it to tow and still be used as a truck, and make it much more enjoyable around town. I can run 85 in mine and don't ever feel the motor is over-revving or burning up the engine, I just understand my mileage is going to suck because I'm driving a Jeep.
