I do from time to time. The only non-stock visible stuff is the bumper/winch/rock rails but regardless folks do tell me it's a nice Jeep. My nieces and nephews love it and always say "Uncle Steve has the coolest cars."

Last week I had all 4 doors off and at a light a guy in the car next to me yells "Hey man, what happened to your doors?" I said "Oh shit! They must of fallen off back there, didja see them??" We got a good laugh out of it.

No compliments, no ducks. It's not considered a real Jeep by Jeep people around here, and normies thing they're "fugly". I don't care, I think it's a good looking utilitarian light duty truck, and it's probably the last diesel Jeep we will ever get the chance to have.

I get compliments all of the time on the color and the build, and then they find out it is a diesel. The questions come pouring in. I have met one of my sons at car meets, heads turn as I roll in and then people come around looking at it.

Yep all the time for color, and I get “I bet that’s easy to find in the parking lot” quite often too.

Yep....I do. When I tell them it's diesel. They go into shock.

Likewise usually when Im filling up my JTRD or when Im parked and it's idling or I start it when it's cold. People are shook that it's a Diesel. Also get crazy looks when I tow my travel Trailer.

Are you all still getting a ton of these?

My truck is relatively stock compared to some of the awesome rigs here And I still get tons of compliments everywhere I go. I think it’s because Jeep has a timeless and well recognized look?

I usually get "They made that with a diesel?!" or in one case, someone trying to "help" me by telling me I'm putting the wrong fuel in my truck. Unfortunately my truck is Sting Gray, which was my second most disliked color choice after black; but it was either get the engine and all the equipment I wanted or the color, couldn't have both. The problem with being painted in "glossy concrete" is that it's basically invisible.

I should really add some vinyl go-fast-stripes or something.

After telling one guy at the gas station about it being a diesel. He still insisted that it was a gasser. Said that Jeep never made a diesel. Asked him if he wanted to bet. Showed him the blue DEF filler cap. That was the easiest 5 bucks I made. I also told him that did put diesels in other models for Europe and other countries and the Grand Cherokee and Liberty for here.
