Couldn't find the picture with 1500 lbs of building material garbage going to the dump, but did find the other 2. Great trailer from lowes 10 years ago.
Oh, and the john deere was when i drove from wisconsin to get a GX345 with powerflow bagger for $4300. It was about $1500 less than any deal i could find locally. Good times. Oh and a new photo of the JD just for good measure. 40" berco snowblower, curtis cab, got a heater too.

This deserves a triple like, but the site won't let us do that ! Good Times, I like the fact you appear to be VERY self reliant.

Thanks Lou! I see you got your Avatar working.

Check out the fence in the 3rd picture. I can't remember exactly, but its like a 24 foot wooden fence that I built to slide open. See the black wheels? Those are meant for 2x2 metal square tube rolling fences. So i just built a Wooden "T" with a piece of ply and really long 2x4s with "X" bracing.

Oh, and on the snowblower you might see my craftsman 19.2V drill shoot rotator modification.

Anybody interested in this more, PM me, i can help you out.

:like: :like: :like: . . . the equivalent of 3 thank you's ! Being an Apartment Dweller all my life, I "miss/wish" I had the need for; but others should take you up on the offer ! GOOD OLE' PEOPLE . . . just HELPING OTHER PEOPLE, REGARDLESS (new Webster's dictionary versus OLD Webster's, ha) ! Getting along is so much nicer than scratching at others throats, imo.

You guys worry too much. Its got a spray in bedliner. That stuff is hard to penetrate itself...and its not an aluminum bed like Ford. Even then how do you think the gas lines run in the bed of other trucks....think about it...

No, i think you missed my point. A regular guy can get by with a cheap trailer for a long time, but a truck would be ideal. So this truck better haul a 4x8 sheet, or else i gotta pull my trailer out of the back yard, which is a pain.
Having use your pickup to tow a trailer around just bring home some plywood because you can’t get the plywood in the bed, would be a MASSIVE fail on the part of the pickup manufacturers if you ask me...

The only truck manufacturer(s) I'm concerned about are RAM and JEEP . . . I have ZERO interest in any of the others .
If I could suggest a LIST of Gladiator Priorities, based off of what the Jeep Guru's are implying -- Last on the list would be "Work Truck," and 1st (in reality) will be "Daily Driver" for the 1 vehicle Families or single dudes in Apartments (Me, ha).
Followed quickly by "Weekend Fun Machine/toy hauler" ! Those damn plywood sheets keep upsetting certain folk, but why ? Gladiator does have that capability, requiring some adjustments to be made and it won't be able to carry "massive amounts of them !? My opinion on that, because of the Cable/cable pivot point "thing" and the angle of the tailgate requirement - keeping the sheets Level . May I say to that, I don't think keeping the sheets Level is a good idea ! Why ?
Because the top few could have a tendency to slide off if not properly tied down - very dangerous ! Hmm, maybe this is one of the reason(s) for the 3rd Delay ?
IF anyone really needs this option (plywood sheet carrying), they may want to consider the RAM 1500 w/off road package OR the Rebel ? Both Fine options 'imo' ! Or even the Tradesman if want simplicity ! Lots more room for the "toys" & the kids too . ME? Well, it's just me, and I no longer have the BIG need . . . the smaller JT suites me just fine & the Off Road worthiness exceeds my needs too ! Will fit much nicer in my Apartment sized single Garage ! Nice to have so many choices . . . tons of them if not a Jeep or Ram fan !

Well said, from day one Jeep has marketed this truck as a lifestyle truck, not a plywood hauling work truck or a swiss army knife that will do everything. I think these guys are just finding another way to lobby for an extended cab with a bigger bed.

Not sure . . . it's already a "crew" Cab and ain't NO WAY Jeep can make an Off Road worthy / Rubicon Passing TRUCK, if it "needs" to be Longer to fulfill those "demands" ! Might as well call it the New RAM Dakota (circa 2022?) and be done with it !

Honestly, I think you guys are the ones missing the point. Market it as a mid sized truck and don’t be surprised when people expect it to be able to haul a couple sheets of plywood. They supposedly made a “truck”. Trucks haul things. They aren’t toys. This is supposed to be a mid sized truck that has the off road capability of a Jeep. If it’s not that, then it shouldn’t be marketed as one.

And don’t give me the bit about it’s a “lifestyle” vehicle either. If that was true they wouldn’t worry about making sure the plywood fits at all.

For my part, I’m not lobbying for anything. They said you can fit the plywood in it with the tailgate in the halfway position so that’s good enough for me. I don’t want a work truck. But I do want a “truck”...

Well in that case you and I are in complete agreement!

I think it will haul a few sheets. When someone shows that it won’t, that will be the time to complain. Until then, let’s enjoy the pictures!

By all Jeep /Ram influence, this thing IS a TRUCK . . . I think we (here) all can agree on that ! But, let's not forget, there are all sorts of Trucks . . . in various "sizes" & Categories -- small, mid, full / 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, full-ton / 3500, 4500, 5500 . . . need I go on ? They all have a purpose for Folks that have their purposes in mind ! Now speaking ONLY for myself, I can guarantee you that my Gladiator (If that is what I get) will be my "PLAY-TOY" ! My adventure machine . . . taking me to distant places where no mortal man has gone before . . . "engage" ! Captain, be my captain . ;)
