can i buy plywood stock with my 401k? After the Gladiator comes out, that shit is going to sky rocket!
The post had nothing to do with 401k holdings. The 401k posts are on another thread.

Once I became a mutual fund manager following my test on April 19th, I'm going to start a "Notched" fund that will include a mix of plywood, MDF, OSB, sheet rock, and cement/wonder board.

I wonder if the members of an Investors/Finance group forum, are chatting it up about the JT?

I mentioned the 401K thing because another poster said that only shareholders benefit from rising stock prices at the detriment of the middle class. That assumption is outdated and completely wrong. The vast majority of equity holders in US firms are the middle class through their retirement savings.

There is no evidence that this is a for sale Gladiator. Many trainer vehicles will be making the rounds. We had a dealer put a JT on there site for sale many months ago. When he was asked about it he confessed it was just a trainer vehicle .

This proves nothing.

I know, i just saw a way to sneak plywood into the discussion and I went for it. :giggle: Shocker!

I'm not sure if it was you Tennessee, but sombody posted about pensions going away and 401ks becoming prevalent. Sad thing about the 401k, most Americans aren't saving nearly enough for retirement. The previous generation(s) with pensions will enjoy retirement much more than the average 401k owner. Not blaming the pension people, just saying, people need to pack away more money into their 401ks.........i suggest Glue and wood stocks, lol

TN gave me the update, so at least I am informed thanks to his generous spirit! And, I can now say in a current and updated way that I remain backwards and unyielding to modernity.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and views on the economic system. Your opinion should be based on current facts and not on old or incorrect info.

You were absolutely right @JL-Engineline this dealer in HI just got one!
A phone call to the dealership proved that this is not a for sale Gladeator. The sales manager told me they will not be taking orders until the end of April. So as far as I can tell there has still been zero Gladiators shipped from the factory to dealerships to be sold.

This is most interesting to read. Any idea when dealerships would be getting these trucks that are now being made?
Should be by the end of the week

Let’s not mince words. Neither one of you mentioned anything about the Jeeps being produced “to be sold”.

It was also stated by FCA (albeit after the fact) that the trucks that rolled off the line are in fact demo units; strangely enough, you confirmed the truck that showed up in Hawaii was a demo unit. Seems like you were able to prove for us that they could in fact turn up in a week.

Now we wait and see what you’ll do to further vindicate your post and prove to the internet that you were right all along.
