No dealers in Colorado willing to deal. As you know, selling Cowboy Cadillacs here in CO., is like selling ice water in July at a Death Valley triathlon, dealers here feel there is no reason to deal.

Contact Kent Shirtleff at Peterson's Stampede CDJR in Nampa, ID. Saved a ton last year.
Ahh, gotcha. I almost went a similar route with Dennis Dillon Jeep outside of Bosie. Last June, they offered me 5% off invoice for a JLU Sport S. I went to Faricy Boys and got them to go 3% below invoice for one that was on the lot. That was a little more than an $800 difference but considered it break even when I considered the travel time and costs to Boise, a hotel stay on the long drive back, and the fact that I'd be giving up an entire weekend.

I'm up in Erie, so I'll try giving Pollard or Prestige a shot but I'll drive down to Colorado Springs again if I can get the deal I want.

I too am in Denver, and I can’t get a single dealer to give a below invoice price.
I would love to see a thread started for us Rocky Mountain folks and where we can get the best deal. I don’t like that nap from the JL forum, I want someone local willing to make a good offer to us residents.
Go TreadLightly! Guaranteed 1% below invoice. The dealer gets the kickback from FCA. Costs you $100 and a 30 day wait to order.

I think I'm out. I wanted the gladiator because it comes in stick but after building what i want Im looking around 40k and I get a better equipped tundra for not much more, albeit not stick shift but i just cant justify it in my head. The color matched hard top being 2200 just blows me away. I dont think Jeep priced the truck too high for someone that is in their niche market but as far as practicality goes theres better options at better prices. My limit was 35k and the only way im doing that is with crank windows cloth seats and no cold weather packages, just too much for me. Still think its a wicked cool vehicle though and if i had extra cash to blow i would like to have one.

Max Tow package comes with the wider Dana 44s AND body color fender flares. I do like the look of the body color flares, but how durable are they? I know they'll end up rubbing rocks/trees on trails with the Gladiator's longer wheel base.
I'm fairly certain max tow does not come with body color flares. They are different flares, but they're still black plastic and just have an extended lip on them to cover the wider stance due to the axle.
There was a pic a few weeks ago floating around of a black Sport S with these flares.

So cold weather group for sport S is $695, for overland and rubicon its $995..........
it looks like remote start is included in the cold weather group in some packages.......does this indicate remote start not available for Sport S, but is included for Overland and rubicon when cold weather package is selected?

lol, i'm missing something here......what hitman?

Did we already figure out the Overland's Trac-Lok® Anti-Spin Rear Differential and what that all means? Its not the same as full time Sahara like setting, correct?

Instead of forcing a tonneau cover on us if we get the dual top option I would like them to add a saddle color soft top if you get the saddle interior...... I think a red Gladiator with saddle leather interior and saddle soft top would look amazing!

So cold weather group for sport S is $695, for overland and rubicon its $995..........
it looks like remote start is included in the cold weather group in some packages.......does this indicate remote start not available for Sport S, but is included for Overland and rubicon when cold weather package is selected?
I thought it was manual vs. auto.

Everything you said to justify one over the other makes Little or No sense (to me) ! ? Your opting for a Bigger Beast of a truck with LESS off-pavement capability, LESS off-pavement Fun Factor, NONE of the "strip me down" capability . . . harder to maneuver (size) . . . and other JT niceties ! BETTER EQUIPPED Tundra ? What Tundra Model you wanting at ~ your limit of $35K ? AND compared to what Gladiator at ~$40K ? Your making the JT's Cost a Factor, YET your gonna spend "not much more" on a Tundra ? IF your "limit was" (always) $35K . . . YOU my friend have been Fooling Yourself for a very long time ! . . . Let me be clear, I am NOT bitching at you, and I'm not needing further "rational-responses" to my thoughts . IF your being honest here (now), I must believe you ! I certainly do not agree with your reasoning, but I wish you well with your Tundra . . . and hope you share that "Tundra Wave" when one passes by .
I CAN relate, because back early last year I was in the RAM DT Camp -- keen on the Big Horn w/Off Road Package and a few other options ! Grand total came to ~ $ 47K, but with all the Discounts (even now) I could get into one with all the added taxes & fees . . . for ~$46K ! Yea, wow ? It was & IS a super fine truck with the Off Road Package (quad cab for me) !
Then I got Interested in the JLU 2.0L w/eTorque - the eTorque because of the improved mpg's . I really didn't (& still don't) care for the Turbo 4cyl. 2.0L . To be perfectly honest (as I've been here at Glad. from day 1), I too could "flip" and get a JLU 3.6 but I strongly am hoping they DO add the eTorque system to IT, or the JT, late in the FALL when the 2020 Model Year comes out ! Which is also MY time frame for jumping into a new Jeep - trading in my 2016 G.C. to make it happen !
Oh, ps; a difference of, say 2 or 3K over the Life of Ownership is/should be factored into your "equation" too !
Again I mean no disrespect or anger or any of "that" - it's just I hate to see someone making an irrational decision with out offering another perspective -- been there done that ! I DO Understand, in the end we ALL have to Live with our choices .
Wish you well . :like:

So before I got into a LONG comment to Joe333, I was about to add MY BUILD -- SO without further ado --
Gladiator Sport S -- Gator or Sting Gray ? Availability time not a factor; it's the "LOOK" that matters .
Price came to $45,955 w/transport. It's gonna be equipped with; Automatic, Basic Trailer Tow, Aux. Switches, active safety group, 7"w/uConnect, anti-spin rear diff, heated wheel/seats, Hard-Top only,
Surprisingly NO Wheel Option here (yet?). Surprisingly NO heavy duty rail step/slider (yet?) . Some of the "packaging" set ups are Different from the JLU side, and the JLU DOES have a Wheel Option (I'd choose, +$995) and also a HD step-rail option (I'd choose, +$975) . Interestingly my JLU build which would be Very similarly built comes to $45,325 WITHOUT the Hard Top & just base Rag Top. I'd be getting an Ursa Minor Hard Top RTT . . . another ~$8K, UGH ! but "worth it" to me .
With a Hard Top, + $1195 = $46,520 . MORE THAN MY JT BUILD ! ! ! Of course IF the JT offered the Rails or a Wheel upgrade and I chose them . . . + $$$ to about $47,900 !
I don't include State Taxes & dealership fees HERE because everyone's is Different and it is not reflecting the VEHICLE only-cost ! My State taxes are ~ 8.7% but since I'll be trading in, I'd only be paying taxes on the DIFFERENCE -- i.e.; 50k minus 25K trade in = 25K of taxes !

Sorry I should have explained more. My limit I was willing to spend on a gladiator was 35k. The Tundra I am looking at is the Platinum which is loaded with everything and can be had for 45k and is a much more capable truck except offroad which I do zero of unless you count driving on a beach to camp. I want a hard top and would never take the doors or top off. I was considering a Sport S with stick shift cold weather group and hardtop, which is 40k, so for 5k more I can get a Tundra Platinum, that was what my comment of a better equipped tundra for not much more. I would really like a Gladiator all color matched with leather but now your talking 50k. The only lure for me to the Jeep was the stick shift and the fact that it looks bad ass. If I could get a tundra in stick i wouldn't have even considered the jeep.
