I received 14.5% off MSRP on my 2018 JLR. I plan on getting the same deal on my JTR. Just waiting to see invoice pricing which my dealer should have today. Will likely get the launch addition.
Please get that and post the invoice details!

Oops, I forgot to add: "MSRP excludes destination, taxes, title and registration fees."

Each potential buyer can take the MSRP total (pretty much fully tricked out) of $63k, and add their specific sales tax to this number, to get your grand total.

For instance, in my particular state and county, our sales tax is 10.2%. This will obviously vary by your local, so fill in whatever sales tax rate is pertinent in your particular case.

My point is that I have no idea why ppl always fail to consider these very, very real costs when they are budgeting for how fat their wallet needs to be. For those ppl financing their purchase, holy cow, you will need to add in the finance charges, interest rates that apply to your particular credit history/income, etc.

It is all extra and above the very understated isolated costs of just the MSRP alone. Do your homework, peeps, and make sure to ad in ALL costs. This way, you won't be disappointed when you get to the dreaded "back office." The sales guy is always all smiles, but not so much the case with the folks in that back room. If you plan ahead, and pull out your calculator before taking the trip to the dealership, you should have zero surprises with the dicks in that back room, and even pleasantly surprised, if you wisely add 10% or 15% buffer to your grand total estimated purchase price. My experience has been this will make your "Day or Purchase" oh, so much happier!

I think this is an error for "manual trans". I only state that because in the cold weather package it indicates "Remote-Start System" is N/A with manual transmission. When I build it with Automatic and select the 7 inch screen, it only adds the convenience package.
It also removes the 7 inch screen if you add it before you add Max tow haha its all screwed up. Then you can add the 7 inch screen back though.

So far, no one has included Sales Tax and EFW. These costs are every bit as real as the actual price of the car itself! Trust me, your wallet knows absolutely zero difference between Sales Tax $'s and hardware $'s. None.

The loaded Rubi cited at $63k needs to have the following prices added:

1-EFW $7k = Sub Total $70k, plus 2-Sales Tax (@ 10%) = $77k, not including 3-Dealer Prep and Delivery. Now, 4-add another $5k (if we are so lucky that it's that cheap!) for the coveted diesel motor (plus Sales Tax for that), and all told, we are now at $82.5k, not including Dealer Prep and Transportation, mind you, and (unrealistically) assuming no second sticker added to MSRP for diesel gem, which is sure to be the case for the first year of the diesel.

I have budgeted $100k for my Gladiator Rubi diesel, all told, out the door. If less, that will be icing on the cake!

I don't know where you live or what the EFW is, but dealers around me will want sticker for a while (no I wouldn't pay it just saying) but you add in the cost of the diesel, these stupid dealer fees of $995 in South Florida and sales tax and you're realistically looking at a $72-$74K Jeep. It's getting out of hand. Sure I paid $70K for my Raptor but it's a full sized truck that I can Jump 6ft in the air with a 450HP/510TQ engine and has every bell and whistle you could think of. I think Jeep is crazy with some of these options and the total cost of the truck.

What dealer are you using? Faricy Boys?
No dealers in Colorado willing to deal. As you know, selling Cowboy Cadillacs here in CO., is like selling ice water in July at a Death Valley triathlon, dealers here feel there is no reason to deal.

Contact Kent Shirtleff at Peterson's Stampede CDJR in Nampa, ID. Saved a ton last year.

That sounds like the perfect Bend rig to me.
Yeah it does. It bet I can get it at around $42k-$43k.

Put my roofy on a bed rack, bikes on the tailgate... And beer in a cooler.

I have heard things like that, but sounds like a lot of work and it would be nice to have from factory. Did you personally do that?
Not yet. I started looking into it since you can’t get ANY optional head unit on the Sport.
I came across the iDatalink Maestro, which then connects with any quality modern double DIN head unit. stroll into your friendly local stereo shop and ask what it’ll cost to do.

The brake controller looks to be a redarc controller- costa less than $200.
What is this mystical step that people talk about? It has a step bumper already.

It was showing as an option for a few days.... no pic and of course no price, just the code. So........??

It'll retain the same climate control and all? Do you have brand/model info I could look up?
Its an iDatalink Maestro RR. The firmware will probably need to be specific to the JT (I’m looking under JL stuff)

I too am in Denver, and I can’t get a single dealer to give a below invoice price.
I would love to see a thread started for us Rocky Mountain folks and where we can get the best deal. I don’t like that nap from the JL forum, I want someone local willing to make a good offer to us residents.
