So they pulled the trigger on my order on Tuesday and I contacted my salesman yesterday (Wed) and he was already able to shoot me paperwork with a VIN and VON. Taking a cursory glance at the previous posts in this thread leads me to believe that I got that relatively fast...

That’s normal to get that info in a day. Now the wait begins. Hopefully they start building manuals soon and you won’t have to wait as long as others have.

@JeepCares Could you look into the production of Manual Transmissions and maybe give us an update when they plan on starting to produce? Many of us have been in D status for quite some time many over 30 days.

That’s hardly a sure thing. All of the other canned chat responses about D1 are worded differently and have a delivery date. I do hope it’s true though and some of ours are soon to follow.

Checked on my status w/Mathew over chat (see below), its a Friday morning ritual for me, no new update.

The Gladiator is currently in the pre-production stage which means that it is waiting for all of the parts to be gathered so that it can enter into the build process. At this time I do not have an estimate for when the build will begin. I would suggest allowing a week to pass then contact us back for an update, but we are available 24/7 if you do want to contact back sooner.

I went for the Silver because I did not want to wait for the Sting Gray, what a waste of time.

I didn't know of the delays at the time I ordered. I tossed and turned about the granite, balck, and silver. The program was forcing the dealer to add the bed liner to the granite and black which also advised a 20 a day extension I opted for the Silver.
