Ordered on 5/1, Rubicon.

Still in D-status, as of today going on day 50. I have been officially escalated and will be contacted within 3 days. Keep in mind of the long holiday week, probably wont hear back until next week.

The way I see it, if the M/T's are slated for a build in August like another member was informed by a chat representative, looks like my waiting period will reset to 10 to 12 weeks starting next month. Without a doubt, I will probably go to D1 status (because all my parts have been "gathered' and scheduled for build) in the next few days and wait in that hell hole for weeks until August when they do decide to built the manuals.

Way to make a good first impression on a first time buyer Jeep.

wait till August I thought some manuals were built. Not sure how they decide who is built first but if you got the parts it should be by order date.

They "escalated" me over a week ago and I haven't heard anything.

Well I broke down and bugged a family member again who works on the body shop at the plant for an update. When I told him I was ordering a gladiator, he said to let him know the VIN and he'd see what he could do. The VIN was given to the "scheduler", but he hasn't heard anything back. This was a week ago and I figured I'd relax and continue dreaming of the day it arrives. Unfortunately reading everything on here and feeling the frustration and lack of knowledge, I specifically asked him to look into when manual transmissions models will be built. I will post back with his response. Fingers crossed, but for the sake of people who have been waiting 2+ months, I hope they are built sooner than later!

I still don't understand how the STANDARD transmission is a late availability item

My manual trans gladiator is set to arrive at the lot in two weeks, and I didn’t put my order in until mid June.

My case was also “escalated” mid week, last week. I still haven’t heard anything - and when I contacted Jeep Chat again yesterday there was no record of the escalation and I was told the truck was in D status - after being told last week it was D1.

New hope is @Thorn-Engineering - finally someone on the inside.

Good morning to all my MT’s. I’m dropping positive vibes. July is our month. I have strong feelings that our rigs are being built. Jeep chat doesn’t know shit! Won’t be long until we get that call from our sales people saying to come and pick it up. I have hopes!!

I'm hoping so dude, i'm hoping so. I have a trip mid august and i really want to be able to take my gladiator for its 1st real road trip then. Don't get me wrong either of our JK's would also work just fine but that is not the point. I ordered mid May and am well past my 30 days.

Reading this forum give you real anxiety and confusion. I am only 2 weeks into the process but i see too many horror stories to feel good that I will see my Jeep before top down weather is over. I am also confused with why some builds seem almost instant and others just linger in D. You guys In D for 45 plus days are you able to get a better answer from your dealer at all.

I can’t complain. 5/24 ordered. 5/28 vin assigned, 6/27 D1 status with an ETA ship date of 7/14. My salesman told me when I ordered it was going to take 4-6 weeks. However my wife and I ordered a 2019 JL rubicon MT it took well over 12 weeks. Worth the wait. Truck is amazing
