Ok you guys tell me...sport price tag is 41,130 after add ons for the lease they want......
$485 for 48 months 12k a year

Then $473 for 3 years/10k a year 3500$ down for 46k trucks .....

Those are the better options...don't understand how I'm getting that when they advertise stuff like this

The price of $36,745 is before any add on’s. If you add anything to your truck your add $$ to the bottom line witch is why your paying more.

I get that part for sure but what is the standard difference between the sport and sport s? And you think part of the price issue is 2k extra for power windows and locks which is standard in 12k Kia sole....the advertised prices are nowhere near reality. BuT that is besides the point.....I don't think those lease programs are very good based of how well the residual is on these trucks

The advertising is for a bone stock manuel transmission soft top. It also says before tax and fees. It’s basically a way for you to get into the dealership door.

The sport has different tail lights, and can’t add on the bigger display or the heated seats package. The Sport S has the tail lights like the Overland and Rubicon, and the sky is the limit for what you can add on.

You generally have to be willing to order one to get the discounts. Lease residuals are based on MSRP. To get the best monthly lease payment, you have to do better than invoice on your purchase price. On a 36 month lease, you should only be financing about 30% of the MSRP. Keep the MSRP down, and you keep your payment down, assuming tier 1 credit.

What would be the reason that ordering one would make it easier to get discounts? That does sound about right from what Iv been seeing but I'm just wonderful no why? Wouldn't they rather move the units they have money in on the lots?

They have to pay “rent” for every day a car sits on the lot. If they have an owner before it arrives they pay little to no rent. Also, they are only allowed to order x amount per month or year. Custom orders does not go against this number so they can move more than they could have. Being able to move more cars paired with not having to pay “rent” means the consumer gets a discount.

Yep. The “rent” is called their “floor plan”, which is essentially their financial backing.

84 month loan on a depreciating liability? Tell me how that makes good sense? Better have some great insurance!
This would only make sense outside of jeepland.

My my15 JKUR owes ~17k and lm getting low 20’s back on trade value and a street price of ~25 to 27k if I let it go with the plow.

For most other vehicles the resale value drops faster than the amount owed but this is jeepland!

Late-year incentives are often cancelled out by depreciation. It's usually cheaper to lease a vehicle early in the model year. The residuals afforded by the finance companies drop a point or two every few months to account for the decrease in value of the vehicle, even though it still may be a brand new vehicle.

$38,800 (+6% sales tax) 10% down, $600 mo. Max Tow, Aux switches & slush mats, thats it. Nothing else financed. Probably one of the cheapest JT's around, but I still dig it.
