I have been looking for aftermarket wheels for my JT and thought I would ask everyone for their input.

I ordered these from Quadratec today. They were on sale, and they took another 5% off for Forum membership. Under $500 for all 4 shipped.

Good choice. Those will look real sharp on a JT. What color is your JT?

What offset/backspace are they and what size tire are you planning to use? Any lift? Having hard time with wheels for some reason on my end. Either they aren’t in stock or have some ridiculous backspacing.

They’re 17x8.5 (1” wider than stock), and +10 offset (stock are +44), so they will sit out about 1-1/8” more than a stock wheel. I really like the +25 of the AEV Borah, but they’re more than twice the cost. I plan on running 37’s, with a 2” lift (I may try to squeeze them in with a 1.5” lift in front, and 3/4” spacer in the rear).

Appreciate the response. Had a set w/ 25 mm ordered and then received phone call that only 3 was in stock with no estimate of when others would arrive....gonna call qtec and see what they have in stock. Again, thanks

I'm thinking about running the JW Series Jeep Smoothies with the 35" BFG KO2s. Havn't decided if I want the 17x8s or 17x9s though. Any suggestions? The backspacing is 5"s on both.

That 8” rim equates to +12 offset. The 9” equates to 0 offset. In my opinion, the +12 is better for a Rubicon or Max Tow because of the wider axles. With another trim, the 0 offset might work fine. This is only my opinion though, as I see a lot of people running negative offset wheels...

I found a reasonably priced wheel that is 9” with a +12. I do have the sport s with max tow. Believe these are going to work out for me.

Nice rig. The wheels that you asked about are Vision Manic, sold by Discount Tires Direct. By no means giving them a plug but i usually buy most of my tires and some wheels from them but seems like they have nothing in stock. Not wanting to spend a-lot on something that is going to get banged up so having to deal with limited availability right now. Could find different ones easily if I wanted to break my budget.

With the 8" rims on a Rubicon, how wide, would you say, my tire section width can be, before it extends beyond the fenders..?

Ordered these in 18x9 -12mm offset for my red sport without max tow. I’ll probably have the wheels for a few weeks before I get my truck

I had those on my 2013 JKR 2 dr for 5 years and traded it in with those same rims. Many good memories with the jesters and hopefully will make some for you as well
