I have a 1 1/2 alloy usa level kit and an aftermarket bumper. I have seen posts where they will go on stock suspension with minor trimming of those silly plastic things on the bumper. But i did not try that way.

I am running a 17x8.5 wheel with 0 offest and have 35 x12.50 tires. The bolt pattern is going to be 5 x 5 ( 5x127 mm). No clearance issues and the stance is awesome. This is on a sport s with max tow.I am not a wheel expert and just providing my input as to what works for me.

Thanks for the pics, looking good. I'm going to be running the exact same spec wheels and tires on my Rubicon if it ever gets here, also with the Alloy 1.5" level kit. This just confirmed I made the right choices.

Any advice?

I am considering 35/12.50s for my Rubicon Gladiator and going to use a 8.5 or 9 x 17 rim. I want to keep the profile as close to stock as possible - meaning I dont want the tires to stock out past the fender flares. The largest positive offset on a wheel I like is 18mm. If the stock rim has an offset of 44.5mm, will my proposed set up stay under the flares? If not, how far past should I expect? I am considering the KMC XD 135 "Grenade" in matte black. Backspace is 5.71 inches. I also want to avoid a lift.

I like those wheels too considering I may get the Sting Gray. I wonder how close that Grey is to the Sting Gray color?
