I couldn’t say for sure. Why don’t you check out the JL Forum? It’s basically a mirror image of this forum but for the JL Wrangler. You can check out what people have done on their Sport Wranglers and see exactly what it will look like. With the 8" rims on a Rubicon, how wide, would you say, my tire section width can be, before it extends beyond the fenders..?
are those satin black? Now I just need my Gladiator to be delivered...
Yepare those satin black?
Damn, those look sick, for the money.
They’re definitely not my favorite (AEV Borah +25 are), but given the cost and the specs, I couldn’t say no. Can’t wait to get them on with some new tread!Damn, those look sick, for the money.
sure there's probably nicer wheels that i'd like more, but you stole those.
what tires are you going with? They’re definitely not my favorite (AEV Borah +25 are), but given the cost and the specs, I couldn’t say no. Can’t wait to get them on with some new tread!
I’m leaning toward 37x12.50 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. The only thing that scares me is their weight. I have a set of KO2s on my current JK and like how they drive, but they aren’t quite aggressive enough, and they run small...what tires are you going with?
Ditto - The Borah's are my 1st replacement item when the time is right !? HERE'S something I just saw while doing my usual 200 mile Radius Jeep Dealerships "Curiosity-Searches" -- the Missoula Montana Lithia dealer SHOWS a SPORT S with the RIMS / TIRES swapped . . . they have the JL Rubicon's on it -- best I can remember, THAT'S A NO NO ! ! ! IS there something I'm missing ? IF anyone cares to go to the website and download that photo -- Lithia.com/missoula, MT. !They’re definitely not my favorite (AEV Borah +25 are), but given the cost and the specs, I couldn’t say no. Can’t wait to get them on with some new tread!
I am running a 17x8.5 wheel with 0 offest and have 35 x12.50 tires. The bolt pattern is going to be 5 x 5 ( 5x127 mm). No clearance issues and the stance is awesome. This is on a sport s with max tow.I am not a wheel expert and just providing my input as to what works for me.Sorry for the novice question....but can someone give me a quick summed up education on what offset or bolt pattern I should be looking for on rims...and what specs I need or info on 35 inch tires for my sport s....thank you!
