Thank you for sharing your experience. Just to clarify, you've placed calls over Bluetooth at 60+ mph and the person on the phone didn't hear anything but your voice? No buzzing or loud background noise?

Yes I have placed multiple calls over bluetooth, and after I saw this thread a month ago I had my wife call me to confirm.
I noticed no noise at all, and yes on the expressway. (80+)

I have the 8.4 uconnect with alpine premium audio.

I have this same issue. On the hwy no one can understand me but they are clear. They explain the background noise. I've had multiple JK'S and didn't have this problem. I will try to get resolution but based on what I am reading here it doesn't sound good. I hate jeeps service. Ugh
I have the 8.4 screen and a Rubicon with hard top and the hard top inserts.

I’m having this issue as well on my hard top LE with 8.4 screen system. I talk to my brother all the time from my jk. He knows the noise from my jeeps very well. He said it is speed sensitive and would be either tire or wind noise. These JT cabin is a lot quieter than the JK, so I’m thinking FCA did not isolate the mic very well. I bet it is in an empty cavity with the windshield frame being one of the walls. I’m trying to figure out how to remove the upper trim to gain access to the mic and add some form of dampening or isolation. Any tips on trim removal appreciated. I really don’t want to break anything.

I have not been able to order my JT yet, I'm getting the Hydro Blue. I just wanted to know if you have come up with a solution in case mine does have this issue. I don't want to have to just live with it.

I have not. But I haven't pursued a solution. I haven't hit up a service department yet. I'll likely bring it up when I do, it's just not relevant for my use. I avoid talking on the phone and when I have to, I use wired headphones.

I haven’t found how to properly remove the trim without damage as yet. I’m sure mine is wind noise which should be easily fixed if I can get at the mic. So far, I’ve found nothing about removing that trim for the JT or JL.

No, I have heard nothing from dealer or JEEP in weeks. Still have issue. My drealer said they checked for broken seals and there were none. Keep in mind, they replicated same noise on 3 different gladiators. I'll try to call tomorrow for an update.
