Yeah it is, i have been tempted to just buy the auto of the lot in town instead of waiting anymore dude
Nick, DON'T DO IT! I think maybe a trip to the UP with the RZR is needed to help ease the pain and waste some time :)

Don't do it. The pleasure of owning a Gladiator sooner is temporary. The pain of driving an automatic, for the rest of your time with the truck, is permanent.
while i do not disagree, i am on week 9, i have seen numerous people whom have ordered after me already take delivery, i keep getting told various parts are the hold up but see loads of Rubicons rolling out. Just frustrating to no end. We are down to 1 vehicle and the one we have will not be good for a trip i have coming up middle of next month.

you can cancel a order the dealer just does not want to be stuck with a vehicle that they already have someone lined up to buy

Stick it out man. You will be happy you did when this is all over. I have test driven the auto and it’s an awesome ride. But it’s still not the same as shifting. Just hang in there brother

Its not often I stick up for dealerships, most have earned their poor reputation. However in this case you committed to buying a vehicle built just for your tastes and you confirmed that commitment via a deposit. I don't think its messed up of the dealer to hold you to the agreement. Especially since I am guessing its a manual and the dealer (depending on volume and location) may have a hard time selling it. You can walk but I think its fair they keep your deposit. The only way my feeling might change would be if the dealer had given your a false timeline, like it will be here in 4 weeks. Then maybe they did not live up their end.

While I agree one should honor their part of the contract, if I were the dealer, getting a vehicle in that is selling like hot cakes---as long as they are made whole from another buyer coming in, I would give the money back. Especially looking to the future for more business from the customer.

FCA chat this morning, still in "D", Saturday will be 45 days. Still not the longest by a far shot, but i'll tell you, when i see on FB guys getting autos in less than a month from ordering, its discouraging.
Yep. 80 days since order and no new news. Starting to take the joy out of it.

I agree 100%, the issue here is not the dealerships though Jeep/FCA could honestly be way more up front about all of this. Even coming into the forum and saying here is current delays, this would at least give people more realistic expectations and would help curb some of the anger customers are getting
