Daniel’s super white JT Sport S max tow

I picked up my sport S max tow about 4 weeks ago, decided to go with it vs. rubicon simply because of price and I won’t be doing rock crawling.

Current upgrades:
1) ***Edited. Jeep OEM floor liners (my rating 8/10).

NOTE: Directions!! Remove the precut carpet drain piece, remove the stock drain plug, install the mat, push the plug hole part of mat in place, put stock drain plug back into new mat.

Somehow I missed these directions and was uphappy with the mats at first. I ordered the weather tech ones and wasn’t happy with the fit (front was decent, but the rear didn’t have the best fit/design). Luckily before I returned the Jeep mats I found these directions!!

4) oem rubicon meob rims, got these off Craigslist for $500 with new Michelin tires (10/10)

5) Michelin 245/75r17 tires that came with moab rims (7/10, super nice ride and quiet, just kinda small)

6) Falken Wildpeak 285/75r17 (10/10, as quiet as Michelin’s, look bad ass, don’t rub with NO LIFT!!)

Here is a picture with the new rubicon moab (all black) rims with Wildpeak 285/75r17 and no lift!!

The mods look good, altho just from purely aesthetic POV, I feel like it will look even better with a lift after the tire upgrade.

May get a lift eventually but my wife already thinks it’s too high, lol. Would prefer to do one that wouldn’t change the ride (or improve it) and I could do myself. Any suggestions?

Added the go rhino 5” 1000 steps!

Note: these only come with 3 mounts per side (which looks off with a white/light colored glad because you can see the extra mount holes) and go rhino may be giving that option to buy an extra 4th in the future.

Thanks for the links and photos. Very helpful. I was wondering about those grab handles. There is already a handle up front, does this upper mounted handle make it even easier for people to get in? Thanks

Way more easy to get in. Also the additional handle makes it nice to hold on to when driving whereas the stock built in handle is kind of awkward.

I had the Mopar 2” lift installed on my SMaxTow, it keeps the Stock ride quality (IMO a little better) and I fit 37x12.5r17 underneath without any rubbing (I did remove the bumper to fender extensions on both sides.

I second this. I did the Mopar 2" and put 285/75-17's on my Max Tow and I think it actually rides better.

I got the lift from a dealer through eBay for $1,250. Installed myself.

I went with a daystar 3/4 inch rear spacer/ teraflex 1.5 inch front spacer... ran tires and rims off of a LE Rubicon gladiator. Put fox shocks and fox stabilizer on it... flexes without rubbing. This is a mild build but it rides and steers really nice. Installed the parts in about 3 hours in my garage.

Cost was 150 for teraflex kit, 29 for Daystar kit... 200 dollars for take off shocks from ebay…
