It baffles me that JeepCares does not have access to higher levels of knowledge that would answer these simple questions. It is rare that the dealers have the info when you ask, but they have to go to some other level of knowledge to get the answer. Why doesn't JeepCares have access to this same information?

Hi Gatorized,
I would like to clarify what our team has been put here to do. As the social engagement team, we work directly with engineering and brand teams to report developing vehicle concerns in order to pursue further research. While our team collects this information, we connect you with a case specialist who is responsible for working alongside you and your dealer to aid in identifying a resolution. We are here as a facet of Customer Care and we are not mechanically trained, which means that we are not authorized to provide technical advice. We rely on our dealers for this type of information as they are the experts in the field.

As a member of the social engagement group- i.e. This forum- all members try to bring new knowledge to the entire group. You have access to engineering teams... why can they not provide you with the requested knowledge so you can share it? Not as coming directly from your JeepCare team (because we understand you do not have the full depth of knowledge), but as quoted by you from your engineering team? Or request that the engineering team join the forum to help explain technical issues that arise? More times than not members here have to bring knowledge from the forum to the dealer because all dealers don't seem to be all on the same page.

That is a pie dream there...the engineers would not admit it if they were on here...

I work for a dealership and get many questions that I cannot/will not answer as per our agreements with FCA...

They have the control of all information disseminated to the general public and Jeep Cares cannot go above that level as per their role on this site...

Not saying it is right but FCA has all of the information and at their convenience will tell others...

That's too bad because nothing builds good will like transparency.

At this time that will not happen with any auto manufacturer directly to the consumer...that is the way that they and John Q Public can blame the middleman (dealership)

I do see the Tire Fill Alert under "Settings" but every time I check it and wait a few seconds it makes a beep noise and automatically unchecks it back. Anyone else having this issue or am I doing something wrong? I ordered on 8/9

But what about the many, many, many cities in this country where the local dealers are completely incompetent and know absolutely NOTHING about these vehicles? I have yet to find a single dealer in Las Vegas who has even cursory knowledge of the Jeep Gladiators they are selling. (And I've visited all of them multiple times.) Every question I ask them they answer with solid, confident made up answers that I discover later are 100% wrong. We customers here on the forum look to Jeep Cares and fellow forum members for information and technical advice, because there are no dealers with any actual knowledge. Most dealers won't even admit when they don't know something, which is worse than not having any answer at all! JeepCares, if you can't help with most questions and instead expect dealers to fill in that gap, then there's a MAJOR flaw in the supply chain of information to your customers, because if you can't answer the question, then no one can.

Just a follow up on how I’m gonna handle my situation. Discount tire is willing to order OEM sensors but I’m not comfortable not knowing if the sensors are specific for the tire fill alert option, I’m assuming the sensors are not specific, but I don’t want to go through having them changed only to find out they were specific. The buyer of my take-offs has not installed them yet and is willing to let me get them back and swap out the sensors so I’ll be doing this Tuesday and report back next week.

Hi Haruyoshi,
As stated by your fellow forum member, checking your build sheet would be the best place to start! If you need any additional assistance, please send us a private message!

and @JeepCares well now I'm more confused. On my sticker it doesn't have it listed, but I pulled up my build sheet and it has it listed there. I'm confused why some people have this and some don't.

Hi Haruyoshi,
Your window sticker contains the features that were actually installed on your vehicle at the factory, as well as the features you paid for. We recommend reaching out to your dealer to discuss this further.
