Somehow, with maybe 25% stop and go, and 75% state highways at speeds between 55 and 65, I managed 24.8 on my first tank in my Sport S, auto and with 3.73s in stock form

Smiles per gallon. I’m same boat. 500 miles and getting 14 mpg. I’m mostly city driving. Will improve after break in.Glad to see this thread. I've had my Gladiator LE for exactly one month. I currently have almost 500 miles and my vehicle is stock.
I'm averaging 15MPG with a little bit of highway driving mixed in but not much. In my opinion that seems pretty bad??? I do not have a heavy foot at all. Hopefully this will improve over time but I was expecting much better.
Regardless, i love my Gladiator!!!!

Note too, the above numbers are all highway, 75 mph. Nice numbers but won't be permanent. Will stop at 35s with Mopar ot JKS lift someday in the next year.View attachment 40439 View attachment 40440 I was heading back from Tenn this am. Rt. 81. well, mine is worse.sport S with 33s averaging 15.6mpg over 3335 miles mostly city, but some highway.
don't know if I have a lead foot or what.
Don't really care too much as my 2008 grand caravan got 15mpg.
My old '01 V10 Super Duty with a 5-speed manual got 10-16mpg with the wind pushing me, so it's still a huge win for me. I do have to say, with the same tire combo you have, it feels much more planted than with the stock wheels.sport S with 33s averaging 15.6mpg over 3335 miles mostly city, but some highway.
