Somehow, with maybe 25% stop and go, and 75% state highways at speeds between 55 and 65, I managed 24.8 on my first tank in my Sport S, auto and with 3.73s in stock form

Just came down to the smokies from Delaware, 22, 22.+ was way cool on Rt.81. Some 23.3. Stock Sport, Max Tow, 4.10s and stock 245/17s. Damn amazing jeep/truck. 75 MPH average. Soft top was very good.

You could say it was down hill but anyone who has done the ride know's its not. Always heavy truck traffic and we were surprised by the car volume all dat Friday 10/18.

When you are in the smokes, don't forget to visit Smoky Mountain Knife Works. SMKW.com

May take the JT on Tail of the Dragon today or tomorrow. Did it with my 2005 Unlimited, 6 speed and filmed it, was a blast. Who says great roads should be saved for sports cars and motorcycles. https://tailofthedragon.com/

I am averaging 20 highway/city, Heavy I95 AM traffic. 26 miles X twice a day for work. Drops down to 19 mpg around town and hunting roads on the weekends/days hunting.

Glad to see this thread. I've had my Gladiator LE for exactly one month. I currently have almost 500 miles and my vehicle is stock.

I'm averaging 15MPG with a little bit of highway driving mixed in but not much. In my opinion that seems pretty bad??? I do not have a heavy foot at all. Hopefully this will improve over time but I was expecting much better.

Regardless, i love my Gladiator!!!!
Smiles per gallon. I’m same boat. 500 miles and getting 14 mpg. I’m mostly city driving. Will improve after break in.

I’ve got 230 miles now manual rubi, mopar lift, and 35’s. I reset the trip and went from fort Bragg to RDU. It’s about 160miles, mostly 70mph slightly up hill north bound. Round trip dash average is 16.3. Either Gear 4th or 5th, between 2000-2400 rpm would get 20-22 short spurts on level ground. No buyers remorse!

Mine was the same as Uparms. I have a Max Tow. I went to to 285/70/17 KO2s and lost a mile per gallon.

At 2100 miles and averaging 18.9 I have the 6-speed manual Sport S, with the 3:73 rear end. Of note, 1400 of those miles are highway miles.

don't know if I have a lead foot or what.

Don't really care too much as my 2008 grand caravan got 15mpg.

Note too, the above numbers are all highway, 75 mph. Nice numbers but won't be permanent. Will stop at 35s with Mopar ot JKS lift someday in the next year.

My old '01 V10 Super Duty with a 5-speed manual got 10-16mpg with the wind pushing me, so it's still a huge win for me. I do have to say, with the same tire combo you have, it feels much more planted than with the stock wheels.
